It's never said directly that she dies, it's heavily implied, but never said directly. She could have easily survived the explosion at the end somehow, or at least one of her personalities. If she somehow created a mythical-bubble-whatever to save Chief, couldn't she have easily saved herself, or part of herself? Thoughts? Mikesta95 Posted November 12, 2012 Report Share Posted November 12, 2012 i feel there's so much evidence to do with rampancy and metastability, that it wouldn't be hard to write Cortana back into the game, it's just up to them if a part of her survived the nuke or was left with librarian etc. all depends on what turn they will take the story, also with the trailer to epsiode 2 of spartans ops showing a increase in that story its possible more question maybe answered either way all we can do is wait. i think she'll be back or they wouldn't of left her death so open Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
