Master Chief multiplayer armor problem

Well I just beat the campaign on legendary solo and I'm pretty sure I was supposed to unlock Master Chief's armor for my personal spartan but I didn't. Can anyone help?

Make sure you were online so it could record the data that you completed the missions on legendary, i did everything solo offline and now i must face hell again.

omfg r u serious u have to be online to get the dam skin? omg playing legendary solo took so much time i rly dont want to do it all over again

I played it online but it didn't get the armor at all.

there is a guide on youtube that will show you how to beat each level in under 20 minuets if you do have to do it over again, make sure ur connected to at least xbl silver first.
