Redeemer
Hi, 343 community. As the title of this topic suggests, the so called "forge worlds" 343 industries is trying to pass as such, are not what a lot of people had hoped. Now I don't know if I am late on this and 343 is already trying to fix this as we speak. Regardless I figured I would have my time to speak my mind as a new community member. So far from what I have seen of Halo 4, I am quite satisfied. 343 did the game justice. The only thing, which I believe to be the biggest problem is forge lacks a lot to be desired. Don't get me wrong, the variety of environments you get in these "forge worlds" are quite the catcher. Though let's be honest here (as many have complained), they are just not large enough. I would throw away all these maps to have the forge world reach had on my map list. The one thing we all know and love about Halo is forge. It is the main thing that drew our attention to Halo, and brought a large amount of continuous gameplay. Considering no two maps were the same in custom games. Which is what a lot of people love to do, when not in the mood for competitive play with friends, post campaign. Especially myself. So when people don't have extensive maps, for things such as machinimas or just to have a long custom game, it begins to wane from interest. So when I bought Halo 4 and saw there wasn't the forge world I was hoping for, I was disappointed. Halo is based around the community, we all know this, that is why we love the game. So if we try hard enough and let 343 know what we want, we will more than likely succeed. Trust me, I won't leave the game just because of there being no forge world, but I will loose the interest I have over time. Thanks, 343 for the amazing game and thanks to this amazing community. Vehicle Destroyer
We just need a large map, and customized backdrops perhaps? I enjoyed the variety in their "forge worlds"
