MetalGunTalk
Hello, I do not know if this is true, or if I just suck but this seems to be the case. Every-time I have used the binary rifle it seems to either own and one shot, or do nothing... So is it the case the the binary rifle is called so because of this? Thanks
RedStarRocket91
I'm not sure why it's called a Binary Rifle, but it IS a one-hit-kill. You don't need to go for a headshot, you just have to hit the target. I'm not sure if this applies to players with Overshields, and it definitely doesn't apply to some vehicles, like the Mantis, but for regular Spartans it's guaranteed to kill as long as you hit them. EDIT: Tested in Splitscreen, and it WON'T kill a fully Overshielded player in one hit. If they have any Overshield left at all, you won't be abler to one-hit-kill them by hitting them in the body: however if their Overshield has almost run out (<~4 Assault Rifle Bullets' worth of Overshield left) then it IS still possible to get a one-hit-kill, but you need to hit them in the head. MetalGunTalk
Ah I see. Well that's interesting then... Its fun when you get a couple of enemies lined up and kill them all. Good fun.

Christian.
It's kind of OP but like every other weapon it depends on who is using it.
Sikslik7
Bi- meaning 2. Binary rifle has 2 shot clips. it is op, but everyone can see you using it and it is very accurate, so you have to be on the person, no clipping then like the sniper rifle.
