Velganice Posted November 13, 2012 Report Share Posted November 13, 2012 Playing SWAT was my first experience with those maps, and maybe it's just me but the maps seem to be too big and complex for SWAT. I spend half the matches running around never even seeing an enemy. In Reach I loved SWAT, the maps were small and simple, not to mention it was a lot more fast paced, thus more fun. The maps are too big, and I'm sick of the asymmetric maps (I think that's the word...get symmetric and asymmetric mixed up lol) like adrift, abandon, Haven, etc., as well as complex. LowrAtown NC Posted November 13, 2012 Report Share Posted November 13, 2012 Yea I agree, SWAT is about quick draw kills, when a team wins because they hid in corners or spawned behind you, it takes joy out of the win and more so the loss. I played SWAT today and from what I can tell they did not have that game type in mind when they created most of the maps. Idk about fast paced, but I agree. Complex is big for SWAT but it could work if they did not spawn people in the middle of a field half the time. Abandon is terrible, I have not heard one person say they like it. Adrift is pretty good. Haven is ok, but the spawns change so fast you get shot in the back as soon as you kill someone, they need to make respawn time longer in SWAT. Ahh, thanks lol that's what I was thinking when I typed it, but wasn't sure. And yea, I didn't mean Complex to be symmetrical. I actually do like Adrift, but it still feels like I'm running in circles half the time not finding anyone.
