MrPlow
i dont know how you could get it to work right but a hybrid could be a brilliant idea.
ChiefSlayer
Halo 3 style but instead of just having to win or lose the rating should still determine your skill. The worst was losing because of horrible teammates who went negative every time and never lvling up to 50 and stay at 49 forever -.- And reach sucks only cause they basically got rid of ranked games, made the arena, and then detroyed the arena with the way they split up the playlists and named them. They need to go back to ranked/unranked, and use the rating system.
CandiBunni
I want halo 3 matchmaking way of course.. Halo reach doesn't require any skills at all =s Requires no skill at all? You know that's an absolute lie. I'd say it requires more skill than Halo 1, 2, and maybe even 3.
Mr Biggles
Halo 2 ranking system. nuff said.
DocSpartanO07
How about something new that works better than both systems? Is everyone so narrow minded they can only think in terms of H2, H3, or Reach???
Infinite LuLz
i think a true skill ranking system is needed for halo 4. there is no benefit from winning in reach but too much cheating in halo 3. i suggest a ranking system 1-50, 5 wins in a row to go up 5 loses in a row to go down. this way boosters quitters and restarters dont benefit. ppl with high xp go up the same as low xp ppl. bad teammates would only cost you your win streak and not your rank unless u already had a 4 lose streaks. this would also slow the time speed of getting a 50 This is exactly what we need! MrPlow
i kinda like reach for that reason alone. its about the amount of time you put into the game, not necessarily how good you are. shows how much you actually like halo. Mr Muffins 7
I like the halo 3 system because you needed skill to get promoted but i would like to see something new, change is sometimes good
343industries
Ranked playlists is the way 343 should go for Halo 4, but with a mix of Reach's rewarding system as well in my opinion, as far as it goes about the Armory etc.
Simply Tom27
I have to go with halo reach's ranking system as I got annoyed by a single xp point for winning, it just made the ranking up process feel less rewarding and more boring in my opinion, although I have to agree that winning teams should get much more credits than the losing team. Mr Muffins 7
with halo 3 i have a real urge to win because i know i will be rewarded and if i loose i gain nothing. with reach i really didnt care if i won or loss because you didnt really get a reward, maybe a few extra but not much
