Zalrohg Posted November 14, 2012 Report Share Posted November 14, 2012 The mission where you ride the mammoth through the valley and destroy the lazer canons, when you get to the part where the covenant ship is hovering near by and you need to board it, don't go through the green lift. instead jet pack up the side and stand on top. at the top you will notice a small ceiling hole. If you use the rocket launcher and shoot directly down you will be hitting the floor right in front of the ships core. it will make your standard notice that you have completed your objective and the mammoth will start to move. jet pack off the ship and return to the mammoth. as you leave, because you never got in the lift, the game doesnt register that the covenant ship needs to blow up, and the rest of the level doesnt load beyond that section of valley. as the mammoth leaves it will hover over nothing but air. to reverse this glitch simply go back a check point and step into the lift and jump out. the ship will then start to spin off and detonate.
