Oh you are so right i am now doubting my ability to play halo wait i have a 2.2 kd in halo 4 and i don't steal peoples assassination. Man how on earth did i ever get those kills without blatantly taking them away from all my team members. Ok so lets get this straight so your saying killing someone that is getting assassinated is helping the team more then focusing on something else. An assist in this game is worth more then a kill and you basically get your kills from taking other peoples assassinations and you think i am criticizing your play style.

 

K/D means nothing, I know many people with K/D of 4 with 5K+ kills from boosting, I know people who camp BTB and farm kills, etc. It all comes down to wins/losses. I destroy people with high K/D daily. Here is what I don't get. You are telling me that in no way shape or form does an Assist result in a kill for another team player? I do believe in order for an assist to occur, another team mate has to make a kill...Therefor assist=Kill. IT IS SIMPLE.

And finally let me settle this dispute. Maybe if you would just TAP the bumper and save yourself the ranting about others taking your kill. If you do the animation then you deserve your kill to be stolen. I would honestly laugh if I had the chance to take your kill. Do not present an opportunity if you do not wish another to capitalize on it.

It is an assassination if you hit the player in the back....simple as that. There is an option to do an animation by holding the bumper. And I am happy for you, such a loyal fan since reach! You think K/D is an efficient way to judge how good someone is? lol please. Actually, judging someone based on any stat is idiotic. There are multiple factors that play into it.

Kills in an objective game mean NOTHING. Look at my game history, ODD BALL, CTF, KOTH are all my main games. Those are Objective game types meaning killing is NOT the main focus point of the game. Scoring is, Slayer is not even fun. So before you put my K/D on blast why don't you do some digging first? Last time I checked K/D was in no way a stat to look at in Objective game types. Yes Inflated by getting MASSIVE amount of kills with the Oddball and the Flag in my hand, or maybe kills holding down the hill!!! That is a good way to just get such great kills!! FaTaL. I haven't replied to my own post because I just finished laughing at how ridiculous you sound. Your logic... or whatever you want to call that is grossly embarrassing to this community.

 

1.) The fact that you arn't focusing on other enemies while your teammate has someone in a chokehold is joke. I feel bad for anyone and everyone you play with.

 

2.) Accepting the fact that someone shouldn't do the animation while other enemies are visibly near, you should not help or "assist" a teammate that is not in need of assistance. i.e..If your teammate is slitting a helpless enemies throat.

 

 

Please continue on your way of amateur gaming and childish antics. Although they are shameful and useless, Ive gotten a kick out of it. So thank you. Forums are sort of like Facebook, if you post something opinionated and arguable then you will most likely get a reply that you could either agree with or disagree with. I posted an opinionated statement that you carried out of hand. Who cares if someone stole your kill, you reporting the gamer for it will do nothing except get you banned for false reporting. It is anyone's game, an assist is just as good as a kill in my opinion. Why are you complaining about a guy on YOUR TEAM getting a kill? How low can you go?

 

Because assassinations are few and far apart for some and when they do happen, people like to enjoy them.

 

Also because there is armor you can unlock for getting them.

Yoink does make you angry, usualy because I remember back on reach I played a game of slayer; my friend and I were playing in a party of 2, our teammates were a Colonel and Brigadier. I remember my friend and I getting majority points, one of our teammates (I think Colonel) didn't get any kill, his only kill was stealing my assasination. I got really worked up after that, his K/D was 1/17. Kind of a reason to get you angry, yoinks do need removed, all people do is yoink you and that's all they can get for kills.

I've seen entire games where someone will follow someone else and only shoot to nab a headshot and take a kill. There's really nothing you can do about leechers except add them to xbox's avoid list and move on.

Taking someone elses Ordinance drop uses a timer, it takes 5 seconds to secure it. Either way he would've failed unless you would've died.

And getting betrayed by a ghost is a little reasonable, they don't have a brake and they still do drive a little after boosting is stopped.

I'm not sure about the ordinance timer. I've called down sniper rifles to give a teammate more talented than myself ammo, and the second it drops they'll look at me, then to it, then to me, and then they'll take it.

They were probably taking it the entire time thinking that you wouldn't notice.
