DonDon365 Posted November 16, 2012 Report Share Posted November 16, 2012 Lets Talk Loadouts! Is everyone done complaining yet? I love this game, and thank 343i for continuing the Halo series. Below are my staple loadouts. Post your own loadout below, but you have tell us why you use what you use! The go-to anything but BTB or Dominion loadout: #1 DMR - Why would you use anything else? Well, only if you can land your shots... Assault Rifle/Suppressor - Great to whip out in CQC, usually I use the Assault Rifle because it has a more medium range, but the Suppressor is a beast up close. Frag - They bounce and are deadly, enough said. Regeneration Shield - This is huge for me. I play bumper jumper and I'm not gonna do that "claw" the controller BS, so Hard Light Shield and Jet Pack are out for me. PV is kinda pointless, use your motion tracker, it is basically the same thing if you know what you're doing. Being invisible is fun, but having to crouch walk kinda sucks (I use this for fun sometimes). Regen Shield is the best - losing a DMR dual? Drop this, now you have a constantly recharging shield, you win. If you really wanna be a pest, put on the shield fast recharge too, haha, you are freakin invincible. Also, maybe its just me, but if I see teammates hurt in a dual, screw it, I run up drop this and join the battle save your teammate and win (I think I should get points for that... oh well). This things just saves my life SOOO much and it is the only one that helps your team too! I can't bring myself to use anything else. Fire Power - For the Assault Rifle. Dexterity - When I use this load out in medium to close range, I'll take 2-3 shots with the DMR then switch to the Assault Rifle and abuse the hell out of bumper jumper more than before. This "perk" makes that faster (the switch), and the reload too? Awesome. BTB go-to loadout: #2 DMR - Same as above. Battle Rifle - In big maps I switch to this because its easier in CQC, (taking bases in Dominion) however if my DMR runs out of ammo in a ranged battle I have it as well. Frag - Same as above. Regeneration Shield - same as above. Fire Power - Same as above. Ordinance Priority - I use this on big maps because ordinance drops, a lot of times, drop helpful items for taking out vehicles. As far as ammo goes, everyone runs BRs or DMRs, ammo is plentiful. Smaller map - stealth: #3 Battle Rifle - An all around rifle with burst is good for CQC. Boltshot - This thing is a shotgun in CQC, combined with the camo, yeah the magic wall just shotgunned you in half. Plasma - Hiding with camo makes sticking people fun. Active Camo - The basis of this class - fun to confuse people, especially those with PV. Resupply - To abuse grenades. Increased Explosive Damage - So I can abuse grenades even more! GonzoWARgasm Posted November 19, 2012 Report Share Posted November 19, 2012 Don't use firepower. Keep the boltshot as a standard. You don't need that second weapon. Get pro with your primary. If you manage to live long enough to run out of ammo, you'll be about time to pick up ordnance. And you can always scavenge from your dead.
