jaytothen
That's not necessarily how it works. Without a beta, people can only make judgment from ads and gameplay clips, so you can't say that everyone loved the game going into release. They simply had high expectations, so they bought it I was just reminding him of the lack of BETA testing. With a release of this magnitude and the size of the game and the little real world testing his complaints of game play and programing need to be brought down realistic levels. Any new game is going to have issues. Any new game by first time developers is going to have issues. Let 343 figure out what needs fixing but we have to give them honest feedback of what's working and what isn't. I just added on the money fact because I think it's an amazing feat to sell that many copies for a game.
Phillip Micheal Hanna
Agree.People aren't willing to be patient...the game is still young.Changes and updates will be made.Take it as it is right now even though we are not all happy with everything, but as a community we need to think positive and do something about it instead of argue.I think the more we discuss and bring up the good and bad in a mature way it will bring upon some kind of change. You will always have inmature people on a forum it's inevitable. As long as the true blue mature fans stick together it will be ok.Patches and playlist are coming we just need to tell oursevles "Things are getting better...things are getting better everyday." DoctorB77
Good idea. But let's put the cap at 200 posts, when you're "trusted". At that point, it's hardly probable that someone would start a topic like that. The main problem is not the beta, the feedback and whatever. The real "problem" is that this is not Bungie's Halo. This is 343industries' Halo. It's another style. You don't like it? Maybe because there is a playlist/weapon that you think is useless? Then just discuss and send a peaceful feedback to them. You hate it, because the campaign evolved a way you don't like? Deal with it. It's 343i now. I personally like the campaign, but there are a few aspects that i hope they will improve. (i'll make a review in a few time) That would be nice. But that is very extreme. New members would be very discouraged to stay. I think that 60 would be the highest that it would be put at. Yeah, i know, but...especially in this period, new memebers are for the majority disappointed players that just want to insult 343i with nonesense. Mmmm... Yes, maybe 60 is okay. Victory Element
My suggestion as spam prevention? Make it so new members can not make topics until 25 or 30 posts. This will discourage these "quick hate threads" from popping up whenever a new member who is on a rant joins. This is a genius idea. You may want to raise the cap to 60 as you said, but this should definitely be implemented. Have you brought this up to the mods at all yet?? Unseenz
I'm sure 343I will learn from their mistake and add a beta. They did have it playable at E3 and other conventions, but that's proven not to be enough feedback from what we have seen Yeah, lol 99.9999% of the people at the playable conventions and E3 probably will not give the least unbiased feedback. Plus, really there are no problems with H4 during LAN sessions.
