I liked Borderlands, but i like Borderlands 2 more. Borderlands 1 has so many modded weapons and such not being patched it kind of broke the game. (at least for online play).

I've discovered BL1 some months ago. In spite of single player was a little bit slow and the cities underpopulated I rerally enjoyed the campaign and the DLCs.

Borderlands 2 has been an epic delusion.

I liked Borderlands 1. Never cared for playing online on it thou. Playing split screen with friends was a blast I was able to enjoy for years. As for Borderlands 2 better in everyway, But for some reason I got bored of it real fast. Then Halo 4 came out and I haven't even looked at it.

I played BL2 with no knowledge of the back story and felt it did well as a stand alone game. Haven't finished it yet and I'm like 18 hours in. That's my kind of game. Besides Co-Op offline campaigns are making a comeback, the overworld itself is fairly massive, huge variety in weapons, enemies, and ways to approach each encounter. Not trying to gush too much I consider BL2 to be one of my highlights of '12. Good thread. Keep it going.

I am actually getting Borderlands 2 today. I cant wait to see it.

I really liked Borderlands 1! It was a great game. It was new and unique. However, with Borderlands 2, it was fun. Don't get me wrong. But I think that it's basically a Borderlands 1.5. Not enough new stuff. That's just what I think.

Its good but alot of modders on the multiplayer though but the Borderlands year of the edition is good and not to expensive.

Oh yeah, make sure you have people to play it with. The game isn't that great when playing single player.

I play Borderlands 1 all the time (alien weapon collector)

 

But I don't have Borderlands 2

I got the 2nd one. And it was really fun. But just kind of disappointing that there wasn't a some new twist.

Great game so unique with the way it looks. A game worth enough money because you can put so much time in it. It is one of those games that you can never run out of things to do.

I liked both games but the first Borderlands was way to easy, I'm glad 2K have made improvements on the enemies since the first game.
