Cartmansdad47
I have recently purchased and spent £269.00 on a Halo 4 xbox console and game. I am very impressed with the game and I love my new console. However, I do not love the fact that I have £200 more than some of you that bought the legendary edition, yet have no access to the new specializations. This seems grossly unfair. I have recently reached level 70 and I am very annoyed that I can not continue due to the fact I didn't buy the legendary edition as there was a copy of the game included. I have spent a further £17 on points so I can get the war games map pass, this brings my total spend on halo 4 to £287.00 and yet I can not continue, does anybody else think this is fair? skummgummigubbe
well yes we peoples must have something special because we bought limited edition but then again all that was in limited edition in the beginning is accessible for all other it is not hard to get the early specialisations just trade this is a good thread about that http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/17324-code-trading-area-anyone-caught-attempting-to-fake-a-trade-will-be-banned/page__st__20?do=findComment&comment=189048
fzdw11
Sometime between today and December 1st, you'll receive an email giving you a code to access the other 6 specializations. As to your question about it being "fair", every edition had its own pros and cons, and this was one of them.

Cartmansdad47
Ok well thanks I guess, I just don't understand why spending more money gets less, so no I don't think it is fair. Why is there a level cap in the first place? If people want to play the game as much as I do, which is why I bought the thing in the first place, then surely the fact on it's own that I have paid money I have worked for entitles me to play without hinderance. Everything that was coming with the Halo 4 XBox was announced when it was announced, including the fact that it was coming with a standard edition of the game. *shrug* I feel no sympathy for you. Why is it fair that everybody who played War Games by Nov. 20th is getting the 6 other specializations, that was suppose to be a nice little perk for those purchasing the LE, and yet now everybody will be able to get it. Suck it up that you didn't receive something specific to one version of the game, and know that you will be getting it anyway within the next 11 days. As to the level cap... Why was there a level cap in Reach when the game first came out? There is nothing stopping you from continuing to play the game.
Cartmansdad47
You're a bit of a **** really aren't you? Suck it up? Who made you the 343 police? Thank you for supplying what little information you have which was already known to the masses so all you have really achieved is pointing out the obvious and wasting both of our time. And I don't see why I should have to wait to carry on levelling up because of misinformation supplied by 343 in this case as they have in their misinformation supply of what was actually in the limited edition. Overall great game but 343 need to stick to what they say, but I suppose it doesn't matter to them as they already have mine and everybody elses £270's that feel let down. fzdw11
...snip... You're complaining about not getting something in your console edition that was never advertised to come with it in the first place, and if you have an ad showing that it does, whoever printed it was wrong. What you did get was this: A custom console with Halo 4 sound effects when powered on/off, two custom controllers, the Standard Edition of the game, a unique armor skin, a unique weapon skin, a unique emblem, a matching avatar armor, and a unique avatar prop. That's what was advertised. You may think I'm a jerk, and so be it, but that is what you got for spending more than those of us who only purchased the SE or the LE.
