zBeaR
Does anyone know what happened to 6 on Reach? I had a look at the cutscene on the mission, Lone Wolf but 6 could've survived that. A lot people say the he/she got impaled in the chest but you don't actually see 6 get stabbed. I saw multiple Elites attempting to impale him/her but all you see is the Elites shields going down and getting hit back. The red Elite at the end might have hit 6 but there was an Elite in the way, so you can't really tell. Does anyone have any idea what could've happened or maybe some information about it? Thanks
Maximum Clutch
Noble 6 died during the fall of Reach. The epilogue confirms this "Your body, your armor; all burned and turned to glass." - Dr. Halsey, epilogue narration Noble 6 died on Reach, unable to see the victory his/her actions made possible. Even if he did survive, the planet got glassed by the Covenant. There's no way possible he could have survived that.

Even if he did survive, the planet got glassed by the Covenant. There's no way possible he could have survived that. That could be true. I just don't get how Halsey can say that stuff without being there though, doesn't make sence. She probably assumed he/she died. As for getting off Reach? No idea really. I only have one theory. Just before the red Elite 'stabs' Noble 6, one Elite gets in the way. That Elite's Energy Sword was in the left hand and if I remember correctly, only the Arbiter uses a sword with his left hand. You don't actually see the Elite though, just the hand and the Energy Sword. For some odd reason; if it were the Arbiter, the Arbiter could've taken Noble 6 as a prisoner. That's one way to avoid the glassing
Harbinger
I'm thinking hes dead it was a Noble way to go. (pun intended) But that theory could be correct but I don't think a single spartan has been taken prisoner.

zBeaR
I don't think a single spartan has been taken prisoner. Spartans might not have been but Cpt. Keyes was in the third mission on Halo 1. I think Sgt. Johnson was also a prisoner on the first mission, I forget. So why not spartans? Reach was in August, Covenant found Earth in October. So that Elite may be the Arbiter still, maybe just not at the time.
emeraldriver
So that Elite may be the Arbiter still, maybe just not at the time. The 'heretic' elite that you play as in some missions of Halo 2 is presented with the arbiters armor by the Prophet of... Regret, I think, and it's said that it's the first time in hundreds of years that the armor has required any use. So it could not have been in use at the time the events on Reach were occurring...... MAYBE Noble 6 is as dead to Halo as Bungie is, and you just need to deal with it.... 'Sayin. xo

Twisted Oracle
The arbiter's armor was out of play for hundreds of years until Halo 2, which was set AFTER Reach. Before he was the Arbiter he was a fleet commander how helped glass reach His fleet followed the POA to the first halo ring His failure to prevent the destruction of halo is the reason he was arbiter in the first place So it is very possible but unlikely that a elite of that rank would be on the battlefield
Church
Noble 6 is probably dead...but you never know. After all, Jun's death is in question too.
emeraldriver
I'd be willing to accept that it was the same elite, previous to becomîng the Arbiter. If it came to that. I still think 6 is dead but....

SternuS
Oh well, technically Johnson was hugging an elite while the reactors of the POA exploded and destroyed the Halo.
ItsMrDeath2You
I haven't played Halo 2 before, so I have no knowledge of the campaign So, you're saying the Arbiter in Halo 2 was the first Arbiter in 100 or so years? the arbitor is a title/ranks, like general or mayor! before the sangheili were practicaly enslaved by the profits the title of arbitor was on of honor/ and after the covenant started the profits turned it into the title in to one of disgrace. thats why the arbitor from halo2 got the armor for his failure to protect the halo. i don't remember the timeline but it had been a really long time since the last arbitor. on a side note the arbitor from halo war was killed, so was halo wars before halo 2?, and if not were there two arbitors at the same time? im am a bit confused to the time line thanks!

SkItZo1041
I don't think it wanted to show him getting stabbed, because that way they can make something of it in a future game. Halo 5, Chief and 6 against whatever the universe throws at them next I think that'd be sick! You get to play a mission as Chief, then one as 6, then they meet up and you get to pick which one you want to be for the rest of the missions, except for certain ones. They could have a way of copying your spartans armor from Reach as well. Whoever you aren't playing as, gets to team up with you like Kat or Jorge did all the time. IMO, it'd be epic. A lot of the Reach haters out there would probably shoot my idea down like a duck, but whatever.

SykoWolf
Actually your right, it was never confirmed, no matter what Halsey said. Thats why 343 nor Bungie put a date on his/her death... however we wont see a return due to the fact that you could choose his/her gender

ItsMrDeath2You
only because Bungie changed the story to suit themselves. read the books. i have rad the book, and eventhough it was a while ago. i belive that the only books that the arbitor was mentioned in were, the flood, and one of the short stroies in one of the evolutions books. so mostly in the flood. i don't recall the details all that well because it was 4 or more years ago when i read it, but i don't remember them stating the last time the armor was used or when the last arbior was alive. only that it was a rank/title of dishonor like felon. at anyrate i just checked the halo wiki page and it dose not say anything about a discrepincy, not saying it did happen. but when compaired with the major discrepincies in reach that would be a small flaw. xX???Xx
I didn't think 6 was dead when i saw it because if you had a look at the energy sword the elite used to stab 6 with, it didn't really look like one. Just before the elite stabbed him it looked like the energy sword was powering up, if anyone has ever used an energy sword you would know that they do not do that. And what happened to Jun?? he went with dr. halsey to escort her and we never heard from him again "With this sacrament of blood we journey into the Divine Beyond"
