Cortar
I literally just played a 1v1 game in Big Team Slayer because everyone but someone else and me left in map selection. Then the glorious JIP system would drop a new person in every minute, but they would just leave again, because why stay?

Then the glorious JIP system would drop a new person in every minute, but they would just leave again, because why stay? Let me freakin' guess: You are starting another whine thread about how the JIP system 'sucks' and how there should be a leaver penalty after me and some other people clearly explained to you in your duplicate thread why the JIP system was made. Secondly, I would've left as well in your 1v1 game. Nobody likes to play a 1v1 match on Big Team slayer. You may have joined a session in progress that just ended and everyone in the game left. Just leave the game and find another match.
LiQuid BioniX
Jump-in, jump-out is how gameplay needs to be. Is it perfect? No. Does it work? Yes. Bungie tried to stop people leaving mid-game, but it never really stopped anyone from doing it. This system is the next logical step. Twisted Oracle
Well they could take the jip system away Then you would be playing BTB and everyone but you on your team backs out. You would then come to the forums and complain about no jip Am I not right?
Vehicle Destroyer
Its stupid but I want to be in a full game.. not wait

Vehicle Destroyer
Because the 'Quit Ban' was highly successful and effective. It was effective yes, but some quit because there was no point to staying in such an unfair match i.e. my 3 team mates quit... the game just started, I will not waste my time in that pointless game. I want to be able to quit that, no penalty. Now on the other hand I quit to quit, no reason, throw me a penalty, I don't care.

I don't care if people quit if more people can join.
l Xenoes l
I prefer this system over the one Bungie used. If I start a game and 2-3 team mates quit and I'm out number by 4 people then I don't wanna play that game and have my k/d take a big hit so I leave to go play a match that I'll actually have fun in. The system may be flawed but, it works better then the previous one.
Real Talk
Because the 'Quit Ban' was highly successful and effective. This. Like it or not people will quit for various reasons regardless of the penalty. JIP is better than being left by yourself because your team quit and there is no JIP. No matter the penalty people will quit. And if its to severe people will complain when accidents happen (internet drops, power goes out, etc). The system may be flawed but, it works better then the previous one. This is exactly why this system is bad. Maybe only the first person should be penalized but now, since you all left, some poor souls who just want to play a game get dropped into this loss thanks to the JIP. And what about the other team, thats a good game ruined for them since now its like 5v2 which isn't fun for anyone.
l Xenoes l
If it's 5v5 and 3 people quit then I'd be one of those "poor souls" so now the match for the other team is already ruined, or they're thinking they got an easy win. Even though there is the JIP system I wouldn't want to sit there and wait for more people to join. Because while having to wait the other team is going to be able to get a big lead and once more team mates join it's gonna be hard to catch up to the other team. With having penalties when when you get screwed because of quitters you can either take the loss and get beat badly for up to 5 minutes or just quit and lose some exp and possibly get banned from MM for quite some time. But, now if you get quitters you can leave the game with no penalty. Both systems were flawed but, this one I think is the better one.
