Popular Post SykoWolf
This is to those who have not received their code's in the email yet: Go to this link: http://www.examiner....-being-sent-out "As you can clearly see in the comments below, some Halo 4 Players have not received their specialization codes yet. The emails are likely being sent out in batches at different times so we can only advise patience. If you haven't received yours by the end of Saturday, contact xbox support on Twitter @XboxSupport or through the Xbox Website" UPDATE: They have now stated the deadline is Monday for the code UPDATE: A new bit of info had popped up from the Waypoint Forum, im not exactly sure whether this is reliable, but it is wroth checking out anyway, link will be at the bottom. UPDATE: These are the countries getting the Specialisation codes (found on Xbox Support)United States,Canada,Chile,Mexico,Colombia,Brazil,Japan, Hong Kong,Singapore,Korea,Taiwan,Australia, New Zealand and India UPDATE: 343 Has provided Reasons as to why you may not have the email: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Emails were sent to both opt-in and opt-out accounts (in regards to your receive marketing emails preference) -If you did not play Halo prior to November 20 at 11:59 PM EST, you would have not received the email -If you are registered with Xbox LIVE in Europe, the Middle East or Africa, you would have not received the email. As noted with the original offer, these regions were not part of the Specialisations offer as Specialisations were extended as a pre-order offer, not a post launch offer If you dont think you have received this email, here are a few things to consider -It may be in your spam folder. CHECK NOW! -The Codes were sent to the email address used when you signed up for Xbox LIVE, the code will have been sent to the email address associated with your Gamertag as of November 20th -The title of email is "You have a gift from Xbox LIVE". Since Specialisations are not directly mentioned, you may have skipped it Email Looks Like This UPDATE: Codes Are NO LONGER Being Sent Out Beyond This Point UPDATE: New Info Guys, From 343 "Some players that were eligible for the specialisation post-launch offer did not receive their fulfillment email due to having an invalid email address associated with their Xbox LIVE Account. We are working to send affected players their codes via Xbox LIVE Mesage Center (which is accessible on both web and console). The test will read as follows, and we expect players to start receiving these messages this week. Thank you for your continued patience, and we will provide an update when all messages have been sent" UPDATE: Guys it has come to my attention that an update will be made available some time soon for all the specialisations to be released to everyone. I Believe it is in December, i will try and find a link and add it below . ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Syko's Note: Guys ,complaining constantly and spamming on the shoutbox will NOT get you the codes any faster. Leave your complaint with either of those sites and Microsoft will do their best to get you your codes. Its Also come to my attention that Customer Support will sometimes direct you back here, DONT LET THEM, explain to them that this is a community run site with no direct affiliation with 343 industries or its staff. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I will put links at bottom for all related sites: XBOX SUPPORT: http://support.xbox....xr=shellnav XBOX SUPPORT TWITTER: https://twitter.com/XboxSupport Xbox Support Spec Code Country List http://forums.xbox.c...55.aspx#2030355 Waypoint New Info https://forums.halow...ail-Thread.aspx
Cahill Rebel
That helps a lot to people. I don't want to hear people without the LE to complain. I was one of the LE people and don't want people being angry around me because of that.

LiQuid BioniX
Awesome post Syko. Unfortunately, I'm in this weird limbo state of not getting my email because my email tied to my account is different... oh well, I suppose I'll get things worked out. In the mean time, this is a big help to lots of people. Nice

Spectral Jester
If you're reading this, you more than likely have a question about the Specializations email that was recently distributed by Xbox LIVE. Before I start addressing some frequently asked questions, please note: DO NOT PUBLICLY POST YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS OR ANY OTHER ACCOUNT-RELATED INFORMATION ON OUR FORUMS. AGAIN, DO NOT POST YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS OR ANY OTHER ACCOUNT-RELATED INFORMATION ON OUR FORUMS. As a general rule, to protect yourself and your account, you should never post or share any personal information online, and that includes our forums. Now, back to business. When Halo 4 launched, there was a special offer involving the following. Play Halo 4 Standard Edition while connected to Xbox LIVE by November 20, 2012, and you'll get early access to six Specializations. That's 60 additional levels and new content in Halo Infinity Multiplayer. Codes giving early access to six Specializations were sent yesterday. The email says the following and includes an image of Master Chief and the Halo 4 logo. Here's your free gift from Xbox LIVE Thanks for being an Xbox LIVE member. You've earned a free gift. Just follow the instructions below, and you can download it immediately.* Here's how to redeem: • Click here or on the "Get your free gift" link below. • Sign in to your Xbox LIVE account using the email address you received this message at (if you are not already signed in). • Your code is automatically entered on the page so simply click Redeem Code. Get your free gift --> Here are a few reasons why your inbox may still be empty. • Emails were sent to both opt-in and opt-out accounts (in regard to your receive marketing emails preference). • If you did not play Halo prior to November 20 at 11:59 PM EST, you would have not received the email. • If you are registered with Xbox LIVE in Europe, the Middle East or Africa, you would have not received the email. As noted on the original offer, these regions were not part of the Specializations offer as Specializations were extended as a pre-order offer, not a post-launch offer. If you don't think you have received this email, here are a few things to consider. • It may be in your spam folder. Check now! • The codes were sent to the email address that you used when you signed up for your Gamertag. If you are now using a different email address but did not change it with Xbox LIVE, the code will have been sent to the email address associated with your Gamertag as of November 20. • The title of the email is "You have a gift from Xbox LIVE". Since Specializations are not directly mentioned, you may have skipped over it. If you successfully redeemed your code, you will gain early access to six Specializations. If you received the email but are experiencing issues, here are a few possibilities as to what could be going on: The Specializations are locked. Specializations cannot be accessed until you reach SR50. Once you have advanced through the standard fifty levels, you will then get the option to enlist in a Specialization under "Infinity". You can choose the order in which you tackle unlocked Specializations. However once you select one, you must advance through it completely before enlisting in a separate Specialization. Please read this article for more information. I don't see any new Specializations. Redownload the content from your download history (from the Xbox Dashboard: Settings-->Account-->Download History). If you have the content properly downloaded, try restarting the game. The link in my email is not resolving properly. Please wait an hour or two and try the link again.
Christian.
Most people can't notice it's at the top of the shoutbox, but the number of people asking about the codes seems to have gone down.

INENDOI
May I also add that I have talked to Xbox support and what not and learned that if you have not signed up for Xbox rewards you will not be receiving codes. Are you sure?? I have signed up but I dont think my Rewards account has been activated yet. They say it could take like ten days or something, right? If I am in this limbo state as far as rewards are concerned what happens? Not to troll or anything but this whole thing is all pretty stupid and I wouldnt be surprised if MS pressured them into doing this to get more people to sign up for Rewards. Lance Neuendorf
My email that i had originally used for my gamertag has since been deactivated, i just changed it to my current email address. What should i do about the code? will it be sent to my new email?
Gamer064
I still have not gotten my code yet either. I believe that I've met all the requirements and have checked my email and spam folder. At one point I lost my internet but, that was after the 20th and I bought the game on release and played online as much as I could. Should I have hit level 50 before the 20th? BTW do we need to be signed up for Xbox Rewards or something and how do I check if I am signed up for it? If I am not does that mean there's no way for me to get the code or do I just sign up for Rewards?
