For some reason, I was logged into Xbox.com already and redeemed the code on an account that hasn't been used since 2007. I have 3 gamer tags on my xbox and 7 different email address, when the spec rmail came I manually logged into XBL and then clicked the link. Verified everything was correct before I redemeed the code.
