marcus903
I know we all can't control getting assists, but I'm starting to feel like I'm being insulted everytime I get an assist for almost every opponent I try to kill in the first game. How is an insult? Let me tell you: When you get an assist, the game is basically saying: "<insert gamertag here!> stole your kill!!" I'm pretty sure everyone doesn't mean to steal my kill, even I have stolen someone's kill. But when I am CONSTANTLY getting assists without a single kill in between, it gets anti-climatic, even if it's unintentional. Do anyone feel the same way?
LiQuid BioniX
Sometimes I do, but all in all I'm just happy that my team got the kill. I think that any real player doesn't just compare K/D ratio, but they also should look at the assists. From personal experience, the way to play Halo is that as soon as you see someone, you put shots on them even if it doesn't kill them (or come close). The damage stays with them and it gives a potential advantage for one of your teammates. Yes assists get annoying, but in order to really measure skill I think you need to look a lot at the assist portion of someone's playstyle. So I'm sort-of agreeing with you
OMG Treason
Im only mad when I get an assist where that kill would of been like a triple or an overkill. I lost an overkill 3 times on longbow yesterday due to that. Otherwise the kills all end up in the same place your teams score so, no harm done.
