God Knows if 343 staff will read this, but i would like to add some suggestions to halo 4, I was a massive MLG Player during halo 3, travelled across Australia to compete in tournaments with my RL Team.

My Suggestions are

 

Trueskill ranking system: I know this is being implemented already early 2013, I am a strong enforcer for this because it makes the game ALOT more competitive and addictive, it gives the games meaning, rather then being like..."Objective??? MORE LIKE KILL AND WHO CARES WHO WINS BECAUSE WE GET EXP ANYWAY HUEHUE"

 

Custom Overshield Ordinance: Perhaps it's just me but i would rather almost anything over an overshield ordinance, it just doesn't cut it.

 

Re-Using Maps: I'm aware that you have already used Valhalla from Halo 3 aka Raknarok, But i was thinking one of the major MLG Maps, The Pit, Construct or Guardian. These were all very successful maps and would just love to play on them again.

 

Local Search Feature: I'm sure i'm not the only one who wants this to be implemented, as an Australian. I'm sick of playing with Americans half the time. making a local search preference would greatly be appreciated.

 

Swat Objective: I believe this gametype should have some objective in it, like Oddball atleast.

 

Flood: Thruster Packs ruin this gametype, simple. (I don't play it solely for that reason) Ps: this gametype is extremely buggy as i'm sure most people are aware of.

 

MLG Playlist: This gametype should be implemented but i'm assuming you will bring it to light with the trueskill system, TS PRO just doesn't cut it (i mean comon you can pick an assualt rifle in the loadout and you call it "pro".

 

Top 3 Medals: Just like halo 3 had, when you check the Carnage Report after the game, It shows the top 3 medals earned in the game. this isn't a big concern to me, but it would be nice to have my multikills and headshots medals recognised

 

Killcam: This should be removed for a couple of reasons. It's extremely inaccurate, half the time its just watching someone shoot the wall, and Halo itself is like the biggest and best game for teabagging, what's the point of doing it if they can't see half of it? I know you probably don't encourage teabagging anyway but honestly its very fun to get revenge on someone you've been aiming for, and dropping nuts to show them it's personal. Or just for laughs.

Teabagging looks hilarious and i crack up laughing everytime it happens to me.

 

CTF: Alot won't agree with me, but i believe you should be able to drop the flag on command in this gametype.

 

Oddball: There should only be 1 spawn for the ball, not multiple. It was very strategic to drop the ball an edge as a last resort while you tell your team mates to go to the ball spawn, can't do that anymore.

 

K/D Ratio: There Should be a K/D Ratio in the Service record for war games rather then just saying how many kills and Deaths one has.

 

Challenges: The current challenges you have are horrible and take no skill, for example, kill everyone on the opposing team once........really? you call that a challenge? come up with an actuall CHALLENGE

 

Suggested playlists: A new slayer Playlist that gives teams certain amounts of respawns.

 

A playlist with a certain amount of rounds where each team only gets 1 life, similar to search and destroy on COD (preferably with an objective to avoid too much camping)

I agree with your point on CTF. It's always been fun to throw the flag off of a building so that your buddy can catch it ;)

 

I love every type of SWAT game.

 

And I totally agree with the Oddball point you make. I still do drop the ball of the edge so that it spawns, but unfortunately that could spawn right next to the enemy team...

 

Also, I can guarantee that the MLG playlist will be coming very soon, as soon as the MLG staff get all of the maps and gametypes tweaked to perfection.

 

I think one of the only things that I disagree with is the KD ratio. I feel like if you made it an obvious public display, people would worry about just getting that KD up tenfold from what they are right now. I love objective gametypes, but it's almost impossible to play with random people nowadays because they all treat it like Slayer just to get that precious KD up. Also, IF they were to implement a KD ratio aspect, there needs to be some way to display the assists very prominently, because I feel like assists are just as important as kills are.

 

Awesome ideas though!
