O-Bot_Monty
Is it just me, or is this level really boring?! The whole campaign is fast paced, gripping, filled with large and small scale battles, and then right at the end, BAM! A new library level. Endlessly shooting crawlers with a lightrifle and sprinting at knights with a scattershot. In a trial and error kind of way. And watchers....shooting them 5 times. Every time. First. I'd rather play bust-a-move.
Caboose The Ace
it was intense as ****************
Sierra1117
Ummm.....I think it was the most intense level on the game. When the Didact started firing on New Phoenix and Cortana tells chief to hurry, i really started to just try and get through the level as fast as I could. Chris Hansen
The sense of urgency is just trashed though when Cheif is slowly walking across the light bridge in the in game cutscene as new phoenix is being Digisized or whatever. He was being cautious. It's better to detonate the nuke a few minutes late than to rush in and get killed by the Didact.

Yeah, because its not like he's worried the Didact can just telekinetically push him of the bridge, right?
O-Bot_Monty
I don't really mean the cut-sequences or the ending or the narrative. Just gameplay. It was okay, but let's face it, it got a bit bland. The previous level was awesome.

Chris Hansen
Yeah, because its not like he's worried the Didact can just telekinetically push him of the bridge, right? The diadact has the ability to lift chief and move him at will, as well convert matter (at least forrunner matter) into data at will. I don't think moving cautiously would have done squat. In fact it's a plot hole since at any point in that level the Didact could have just thrown chief off the edge or effected how he goes through the man-cannons. OOR, he could have just digitally converted the ground in front of chief into data....

And Chief was cautious because he wanted to know where the Didact was, its not a plot hole at all.

Victory Element
I was somewhat bored of the prometheans throughout the entire game. It just felt like the same routine over and over again: shoot the watcher, get the crawlers, save the knight for last, and so on

Twisted Oracle
Well the didact being a forerunner general and warrior believes somewhat in honor like the elites, so i assume he was honoring that code by at least confronting the chief rather than just knocking him off the bridge
PublicAlliance
Well i thought that it was pretty borring. It was the same things happening for about30 to 50 minutes.

LordChristoff2
I suppose it depends on the level of difficulty that you are playing it on. Easy is to easy and does get boring after a while, whereas if you do it on Legendary on Solo as I have done. You constantly are on your toes trying not to die.. The difficulty does make a difference. Vaulting♥Frog
Well considering that John survived the Composer he might want to study John which is why he didnt kill him outright.
medcsu
I thought it was great. The music was heroic, the faceoff was epic, the sheer number of enemies was staggering, and the cost of failing meant the destruction of Earth. Yeah....I liked it.
