Harbinger
Oblivion is an amazing game and if your thinking about purchasing it I would highly recommend getting the game of the year edition that comes with the addons. It has lesser graphics of course the game play is good it has a reasonable amount of gliches. But the thing I like about it is that it seems to have 3 times the gameplay and side missions then Skyrim I play alot of games and Ive beaten Oblivion 50 times or more and I'm still playing it. So its worth your money.

Admiral Ackbar
I actually prefer Oblivion over Skyrim. It's such an easy game to get into.

Zelda
Oblivion can and will be more difficult than Skyrim. Its also harder to level up in Oblivion, and you dont get to freedom to mix and match your skills much when it come to the time that you suddenly want to change it. Only way to change it, is to start a new character. Its ok, though, there have been a ton of us who would do that. And the magic system is better. I loved oblivion, and I loved Skyrim. Oblivion will always have a special place in my heart due to it being my very first Elder Scrolls game. Not to mention my very first first person game. It took me a long while to learn that game, but I had a blast on it. Just dont forget to say Hello to Mi'que for me.

Admiral Ackbar
It takes 10x more hits to kill someone in Oblivion. I hope you know what your getting into.... Not really. Depends on your weapon set up.
Zelda
It takes 10x more hits to kill someone in Oblivion. I hope you know what your getting into.... Not really. Like what Ackbar said, it depends on your weapon setup, and it also depends on which difficulty your game is set to.
D-38 Boss
Oblivion is great, but the differences from skyrim are mainly new gameplay mechanics. I.E. Dual wielding, Shouts, Blacksmithing, Easy enchanting. these are not in Oblivion.
