how to turn off the killcams

there is only one feature I dont like about halo 4, and that is the annoying killcams, I hated them from the first time I saw them, because when I die, I dont want to see how I died, I want to see whats going around me on the battlefield, like where enemy vehicles are, where they're heading, where enemy spartans are heading, etc, is there anyway to turn them off so they never show up? killcams are just not halo

I don't think there is a way to turn off kill cams, but if there where it'd be off in a second. I just hate kill cams.

Can't you just press 'X' to skip the killcam as soon as you die? That's what I do.

in some modes when you hit X to turn it off you instantly respawn, making it rather hard to change your loadout if you feel you need to

If you don't wish to see it then press X when you die. It skips the cutscene and just sends you right back into the game. That's your way to get rid of them in matchmaking. You can disable them in Custom Games.

If you are in split screen on xbox live, kill cams don't appear.

In modes without insta-respawn [and yes insta-respawn is a word] just press the "X" button. With insta-respawn you'll just have to tough it out and deal with it.

Killcams cant be turned off, but on custom games you could turn them off from the settings of the game.
