Halo 4 title update released with exploit and gameplay fixes

343 Industries released a title update to Halo 4 on the Xbox 360 Thursday with various exploit and gameplay fixes.

 

The exact details of the Halo 4 title update have not been released yet as 343 Industries wanted to wait until after the update was released. Community manager Jessica Shea did say, "this particular TU tackles actual game and gameplay issues, not sandbox tweaks and balances. We have another TU in the works and will continue working on the timing and content of the next one."

 

The title update moves Halo 4 to version 1.02 and is an approximately 30MB download.

 

Halo 4 players have already confirmed a number of fixes on Reddit and the Halo Waypoint forums though. These include the following.

• Haven has been fixed. Weapons are no longer in the floor.
  
• Endgame killcams added in some gametypes but reportedly don't work correctly
  
• Game is reportedly smoother.
  
• An issue with DLC only working on one profile has now been fixed.
  
• Trying to launch ‘Halo Waypoint’ from Halo 4′s menus no longer crashes your console.
  
• It is now possible to get the ‘Last Strike’ medal in Matchmaking.
  

We'll add the full list of fixes when 343 Industries releases them.

 

Here are some issues that were not fixed with this title update.

• Theater is still broken
  
• Super Throw Glitch still work

Fix the legendary campaign glitch, give the credit people deserve even if they did beat some or even all the missions offline. please fixxxx

This update screwed up my halo save. Im SR77. Since the update, sometimes it says im a level 28, sometimes a level 7. I lost my legendary campaign completion, weapons missing from loadouts, my armor that I unlocked is missing, my tag, my avatar items connected with halo were also lost. I also cant see my preorder items.

So, the question is: Will 343 even admit to or address this issue?

The game auto saves as soon as you start up the game, overwriting the original save with one that appears new with no unlocks or progress

I was really surprised when I saw the End game cam and the Last strike metal. Although, I wish Filesharing would work. :C

The number one thing that needs to be fixed in this game is the Boltshot. That weapon is way to strong. It needs to be taken down to the level of the Mauler from H3 (oh how i miss halo3).

Pulse grnades need to be fixed you can run right through them there now even a deteriant i mean. They were creatwd to stop people from coming through they area now they dont even drain there shields. Total garbage. Aswell as the whole bulltrue never works i get hundreds of them all ending with my death. The award is for killing them while there lunging befor they kill you not you kill them they kill you. Why have the award if it dosent work. And finaly i hate playing games that i gwt killed by my own team not all players are pro. I get teamkilled so often its almost madning. I had to stop playing cause i waa getting. Sick of it. One more thing bring back king of the hill how are u soposto get all the achevements if you cant play the game type.

 

Gametypes that are missing are team doubles you have 2v2 where is 2v2v2v2v2 where is headhunter. Please remake the forge maps anyone can make forge maps. We want to see some thing you can make. Get rid of soft kills eather make it a solid wall or dont put it there

I wish they would adress all the hacking going on ie, 2rd burst DMR, & LRs, ppl picking their own loadout to spawn in by this i mean the guy who spawns in with a sniper rifle, & Rocket launcher, you kill him he has an AR & both the RL & SR dissapear. people with permant damage boost etc. .Also adress the host leaveing issues, that stick you in the start screen for 5-10mins, or mysticly teleport you to a new game.

 

That would be a good start.
