thelogan222
I, as well as many other people have come to highly dislike a few of the maps currently available in Halo 4 matchmaking. I wish to propse an idea to 343 industries to forever solve this problem. I imagine a system that allows you to set preferences for certain maps over others. I have begun to dislike Ragnarok, the remake of Valhalla from Halo 3 due to the Mantis's. If this map preference system were to be imput to Halo 4 through a title update, fans would then be able to choose certain maps to play on more than others. I hope that this is read by a 343 staff member, please promote this thread so 343 will see it. Yours truly, Logan R.
Maximum Clutch
I just wish they would make it so EVERY single game of slayer wasn't on Haven. I have become so sick of that map.
TRF BaDInTentZs
Agreed, the maps by and large have no direction to them and are poorly designed for the game types. In the previous versions the maps were designed for a set game type. In this version they're trying to do 1 size fits all.

Benchimus
All circular maps with no good places to hole up in. What happened to the Guardian, Lockout, construct, etc. type maps?
Scotty A. Parker
I would soon shoot myself than run a 24 hour marathon on Haven or Ragnorak.(Two of the MOST favored maps in the game). If you think this system shall be your salvation, you'll be greatly disappointed.

If you think this system shall be your salvation, you'll be greatly disappointed. While my feelings towards Haven are luke warm at best, I wouldnt mind 24/7 Ragnarok. Exile is so so, long bow is good, vortex sucks and, to me, meltdown brings me feelings similar to what Paradiso did in Reach. Anger, frustration, boredom, and a general desire to strangle someone. DoctorB77
This would destroy any type of dedicated servers we have now.
NotNoobNorPro
i can't help but ask, why not just allow map selection already? why make it vote based? just give the various maps as options so you can select which you wanna play. is there some technical reason for this being difficult to accomplish or something? o.O
upton889
343 simply needs to implement smaller maps in the game. None of the maps in the current matchmaking will make for a good team doubles map, assuming that team doubles does make its return in the near future. 343 will have to make smaller maps to accommodate team doubles, with the exception of Haven. The reason people love playing Haven so much is because it is small and symmetrical, and as a result of these traits, plays very well.
