Delpen9
I think there should be an auto-boot where if you don't play inside a matchmaking game for so long, lets say 10 minutes the game automatically boots you.
OMG Treason
I think this sounds like a great idea especially for spartan ops.
Twisted Oracle
good ideal but most games only last
SatanicBagels
Good idea but I think that it could be bypassed by using a rubber band or tape.
Christian.
good ideal but most games only last 5 You could change it for the different playlists.
TRF BaDInTentZs
15 seconds. Either play the game or back out. IDC if you're texting, talking on the phone or whatever.
LiQuid BioniX
10 minutes and the game is over. I'd give it maybe 20 or 30 seconds. If you have a phone call, so be it. You shouldn't be playing Halo then anyway and you'll be hamstringing your team.

Cortar
Good idea but I think that it could be bypassed by using a rubber band or tape. Because thats not really easy to detect..... [/sarcasm]
Nick Fuller
there is an autoboot in COD. it works for those who put the game and get distracted around the house and f*uck the team over. Those who intentionally go afk for points, just need a rubberband on the thumpstick and BAM they bypass the auto kick smh

Unlike Halo, BO2 actually has that option to report them for exactly that.
HA ACE G4H
1 minute of inactivity and it pops up for your teammates "Do you wanna boot Xplayer for inactivity?" That way if your on a team of friends that don't care it is ok, otherwise cya! also if you dont have a mic, ffa only or stick all people in party chat and people with no mics on one team!!! Im so sick of dealing with non communicating, un cooperative teammates!!!
RedStarRocket91
The timescale is a little forgiving: I'd say maybe three or four minutes? That was if you're in the bathroom or whatever when the game starts (and with matchmaking times being as random as they are, I can understand this happening) you still have time to get back and join in. Maybe you should have to pick a loadout to actually spawn, like in Call of Duty? Or press a button to actually respawn at all? That way you have to actually be sat down and playing to have a character in the game, so if you're afk you literally can't give away kills. And perhaps if you don't spawn within one minute of being able to do so, or whatever, you get autobooted? So that way you can't just hide at the respawn screen to avoid playing.
TornadoFlame
why couldn't they copy the good things about cod like there auto boot lol
NDeezy415
Sometimes I have to drop deuce during a match. Sucks. That's when I look for a hidden corner, crouch, activate camo, and hurry the f up. Funny, that's probably what I'd do if I was a real spartan $hitting on the battlefield...
