Nerfing?

Has there been alot of nerfing post release? I'm noticing huge loss of power in alot of the weapons as compared to previously. Examples:

Scatter shot- at point blank it still 1 hits, but at near point blank, though all the projectiles do hit, it requires usually 4 shots. Previously it required 2 at this range.

Supressor- my friend loved this wep most out of all the loudout weps, and though i never used it till recently, he says it feels weak as heck now.

Detonator...luancher...thing- lol forget exact name, but anyway it used to be like the power of a rocket, and now its more like a grenade, perhaps just slightly more powerful. at this point im setting them off under peoples feet, but just because they happen to jump, they get enough distence from it to survive.... this wep used to kill anything near it, right? now they need to be either weakened first or squating over it saying in a cute voice "are you my mommy?" before it actualy kills, it seems.

Railgun- used to kill if you hit the floor nearby their feet. I just a minute ago got a direct hit on someone (no he didn't have overshield i am positive) and he survived....

Anywho back to my original question, so is 343i nerf happy or is it just me?

I didn't think they'd done a lot of weapon rebalancing yet. Chances are you're witnessing network issues combined with the fact that players are simply learning how to play better as they get used to the game. The first few weeks of a game's release are full of people getting a feel for the game and making a lot of mistakes they'll never make again. There will be a similar influx of new players around Christmas, more players will seem clumsy and you might find them sitting still for a suppressor kill or walking onto a sticky detonator for you. After awhile the community just gets better at the game as a whole though.

The best methods for playing a game, unlike wealth, trickle down. Usually you see people start doing stuff at the highest levels in order to get an edge, then slowly everyone at lower levels learns it and it becomes standard. Later in the game's life certain tricks that fool new players now won't fool anyone.

ok i get what you're saying as regards peoples use of weapons, but i'm talking about actual weapon power. like direct hitting with a railgun and not getting a kill, as i mentioned. i suppose it COULD be network related, as you said, but it really feels like things have simply been nerfed. i googled it a little and found random people mentioning nerfs, but most were related to pre release. some were related to post release, but i couldn't find any definite info.

isn't there anywhere 343i would discuss this kind of thing specificly, by chance? thanks
