Halo 5 wish-list part 1:

 

P.S. Other users. May contain ideas you won't like. Viewer discretion is advised.

 

Bring-backs{ specter, revenant, plasma launcher, needler rifle, focus rifle, hornet, falcon, scarab, flamethrower, missile pod, arbiter and his covenant, brutes, drones, dual wielding, smg, flood, brute chopper, brute prowler, brute weapons, plasma rifle, campaign and firefight/spartan ops theater, skirmishers, firebomb grenades, spike grenades, armor lock, drop shield, scary covenant with more armor variety(example: reach). elephants, ODSTs, hijack-able wraiths and scorpions(taking it over), spirits, usable sentinel beam, old ammo capacities( halo 3, reach), assault, vip, changeable votes, unfrigginbeleivable medal, juggernaught, less-talkative chief, back-ground menu artwork, back-ground music, actual ranks(private, colonel, sergeant, etc), guided banshee bombs, obvious rocket launcher lock-on,

 

 

Take-aways: personnel loadouts, kill-cams, grenade indicator, regenerator field, instant respawns, ordinance(non-personnel), the multiplayer idea of spartans are in training,

P.S. WARNING 343 AND OTHERS. Long list. Other users, may contain ideas you wont like! Viewer discretion is advised.

 

Ideas:

1. Master Chief can use the force like abilities the didact had(and other abilities) because of his evolution enhancement by the Librarian.

 

2. Invasion 2.0. - a combo of elites and promethean knights vs spartans. Instead of an ordinance drop you can call in friendly AI(Knights: Prometheans. Elites: Covenant. Spartans: Marines, ODSTS.). Half of the non-human loadouts are covenant, half are promethean. If you choose a covenant loadout you will be an elite, and if a promethean loadout you will be a knight. Include things such as scarabs, mammoths, broadswords and longswords, phantoms, liches, etc. Capture the core, kill the VIP, and destroy the scarab/mammoth. If both teams each win one time, there will be a session where flood AI come in and whichever team dies first is the loser. 8 vs 8 or even 10 vs 10.

 

3. Flood mode 2.0 - In addition to combat forms, flood players can choose from carrier forms(when they are near a non-flood player they will explode releasing multiple AI infection forms), and pure forms(the transforming one from halo 3),

 

4. Firefight 3.0 - covenant, flood, and promethean firefight modes. And mixture mode. You play as a marine, but after so many kills you can upgrade to an odst. Then after so many kills as an odst you can uprade to a spartan. Editable traits, wave settings, etc. Include things such as Scarabs and Mammoths.

 

5. The ability to hold an energy sword in one hand and plasma rifle, spiker, pistol, plasma pistol, smg, etc in the other hand.

 

6. When two players punch each other at the same time a quick time event happens where the players have to push random buttons to attack and dodge the other player's melee attacks.

 

7. Counter assassination quick time events.

 

8. The ability to lay down, in addition to crouching.

 

9. Armor customization similar to Reach's. Credit buying armor system and all. And what armor pieces you choose affects your health, agility, speed, etc.

 

10. Mini-Mantis that is really fast, can jump, but can't stomp, doesn't have missiles, and has weaker armor.

 

11. Space battle multiplayer and firefight maps.

 

12. Different forgeworlds-snow, forest, desert, space and plains/mountains. As well as a forge world for firefight. Also AI/bots in forge. Or AI/bot spawn points. Forgeable large covenant drop pods, odst drop pods, covenant drop pods, etc. All types of structures, explosives, etc(so not just UNSC, also Forunner and Covenant). Forgeable quicktime/interactives.

 

13. Promethean vehicles. Falcon- like covenant vehicle.

 

14. Promethean version of the hunter. It could look like a turtle, komodo dragon, or something and have multiple incinerator cannons and promethean swords. And maybe a promethean flame-thrower in its "mouth".

 

15. More quicktime/interactive events in the campaign(such as the elevator in the first level of halo 4),

 

16. The ability to play as elite(unlock), spartan(start), or promethean knight(high unlock) in normal matchmaking. Depending on what you are playing as(elite, spartan, knight), you have access to different armor abilities in matchmaking: Spartan armor abilities: armor lock, drop shield, jet pack, hologram. Elite armor abilities: active camo, hologram, jet pack, armor lock. Knight armor abilities: hardlight shield, thruster pack(more powerful than in 4), promethean vision, drop shield.

 

17. Player Elites evade instead of sprint, player Knights teleport to a random location on the map(15-30 second cool down).

 

18. Player Spartans are average punchers and throwers, and good aimers.

 

19. Player Elites are average aimers and punchers, and good throwers.

 

20. Player Promethean Knights are good punchers, and average aimers and throwers.

 

21. Swimming and watercraft.

 

22. Flood in campaign. First level, stray bullets hit some containment stuff in a Forunner structure(halo ring/other). Second level, everybody ceases aggression toward each other to eliminate the flood. Have the flood be scary.

 

23. Covenant and Promethean versions of the flame-thrower.

 

24. When you switch weapons while dual wielding, u don't drop one of the weapons.

 

25. Longer, less rushed campaign. Make it FEEL like war, and possibly revenge, since the chief is probably very upset about cortana.

 

26. Grappling hook.

 

27.The ability to "board" a hunter and plant a grenade.

 

28. The didact obviously isn't dead. Seeing as how the prometheans haven't gone back to being blue, they're still orange.

 

29. Destroyable environments.

 

30. Different weapons do different amounts of melee damage.

 

31. Different types of player spawns(drop pod, pelican drop, phantom drop(elites), etc).

MY WISHLIST!(multiplayer)

 

343 should somewhat go back to halo's roots but innovate at the same time!

 so halo is an arena shooter right? well what should an arena shooter have? fair spawns and map control! this is what we need!

 

-fair initial spawns(same weapons)

-weapon attachments scattered around the map(silencer, flashlight, and laser sight)

-slower kill times, movement, and spawn times

-return of dual wielding which disables sprint but has its own melee animation

-return of equipment that is realistically put around the map like a jetpack on the wall inside the storage room

-personal ordinance that only drops a resupply, power up, equipment, grenades, or attachments! instead of getting a completely new bonus you basically take 1 of the next set of weapons that will be dropped onto the map

-ordinance drops will now hold loadout weapons since only getting power weapons gets repeatitive

-ordinance should not be random and should have the initial spawn which is never random then the second wave will spawn into the map with different weapons in specific locations then the wave after that will be the initial weapons in a new completely NON random location that makes sense

-dynamic environments that spawn new weapons and equipment in a huge event similar to battlefield like a pelican that flies over and crashes dropping a warthog in one location of the map and a target detonator inside the ruins of the pelican and the announcer says incoming pelican and gives everybody a way-point bringing action to a new part of the map!

-way-points on weapons cant be seen through walls

-water vehicles

-in BTB and invasion the initial spawn is inside of a drop pod or pelican which drops players off and the host or selected person by vote gets to drive pelican around the map after it drops everybody off!

-huge forge environments

-full customization for every gamemode

-a classic and competitive playlist for the old fans

-playable elites PLEASE

Golf Club for Custom Firefight matches (like in Halo Reach)

 

Possibly the ability to customize actual face of your Spartan...

 

Maybe another human Organization... like a rebellion? :o

1. An air vehicle for Multiplayer (i don't care if it's covenant, human or Promethean, i want, no need a flying transport vehicle) 

2. Awesome assassinations! These are a must have, i love running up behind enemies and feeling the rush you get from breaking a spartans back.

Firefight - It would be fun as hell, as well as work in the Halo lore. Make it more like Horde, so it gets more difficult with each wave, instead of playing the same waves again.

Invasion - Whilst I didn't like Reach that much, one of the few things I liked about the game was Invasion. It was creative, intense and it's just fun.

Dominion - Unlike many, I LOVED Dominion and I was sad when they took it off the playlists. It's not as good as Invasion, but it's still fun.

Multiple HUGE Forge maps - I liked how Reach had a huge map for forging, I also liked how Halo 4 had multiple Forge maps. Well, there was Forge Island but most of that is water. They should have terrain editor as well, and bigger natural Forge pieces. What with this being new hardware, this could be a possibility.

Ok so all these people who posted in this forum are dumb little 12 year olders that have no idea what they are saying and want drop pods popping out of spartans ass and stuff no all the halo community wants is ranks and good gameplay no dumb gay stuff just get back to the basics man it's not that hard just go back to h3 ranking system it's really simply you have to just be dumb to screw up halo 5 man smh RANK RANKS RANKS RANKS BYE!

Halo 5 Wishlist

 

1. Bring the old weapons back (ALL OF THEM) smgs, needle rifle, flamethrower, etc

 

2. New weapons. Not many but still a good amount

 

3. Bring all the vehicles from past halo games into this game, that includes halo wars!!!!!!!!

 

4. Keep spartan ops but change up the levels and maps

 

5. BRING BACK FIREFIGHT maybe add an objective

 

6. Bring back the old modes such as invasion, etc

 

7. Playable Elites, Prometheans, Marines, ODST, etc

 

8. More factions!!!! Bring the flood and the insurrection into the story

 

9. GIANT FORGE WORLD!!!!!!!!!! With more items like working lights, gates, promethean, covenant, unsc, flood, and innies structures

 

10. No teams in forge, set spawns to a player, placeable enemies

 

11. All armor unlocked in forge

 

12. All emblems unlocked PERIOD.

 

13. Skill based ranking system that gives you experience based on how well you did in the match

 

14. Classic armor, less of the weird looking helmets in halo 4

 

15. NO LOADOUTS

 

16. Weapons scattered around the map, not ordinance

 

17. Personal ordnance drops halo 4 loadout weapons, grenades, armor abilities

 

18. Keep sprint as it is

 

19. If the halo 4 big team battle is what btb will be then I want Halo War, with tons of weapons and vehicles, team bases, mobile base, armories, personal ordinance drops in troops not weapons

 

20. Give me a choice of what I want to unlock when I reach a level such as which armor pieces I want

 

21. Environmental physics, I'm not talking battlefield 4 , I want dirt flying up when my bullets hit the ground

 

22. Customizable roles for a spartan , be able to choose from titles such as sniper, assassinator, heavy weapons specialists, cqc, but these title are earned by you skill with these weapons

 

23. Listen to YOUR fans, not the cod or battlefield fans, but the HALO fans

1. Give me back the precision adjustments that I had in Reach. The magnets are cool, don't get me wrong, but it's a pain in the rear to manually adjust every angle.  

 

2. Give forge some life and texture on the pieces. I love the active displays that came in! Why can't the wall pieces have circuitry or there be displays as a decorative piece?

 

3. Let kinect give a different aspect to the gameplay like you did with Halo CE anniversary. Why not allow for basic firefight commands? I.E. "Take cover" "Call for ordinance" "Get in the vehicle"

Add the jet from halo 4 on the last mission to multiplayer?

Add more types of assault rifles that arent weak as ****?

Add more vehicle and building adding to maps for forge?

Add all vehicles from previous games to multiplayer?

Add predator mode, zombies and bots for offline multiplayer that can be put on forged maps?

Add waves to multiplayer?

Add more large maps so i can forge like a boss and add stronger turrets and different types of turrets to that base capture and defense mode (rocket turrets, cannons, and heavy machine gun and add the same varients both manual and automatic

Do this **** or ill get a game design degree and do it myself for myself lol

Add more aerial vehicles such as helicopter type and hover type for alien and wtf no lasers man i want lasers and cluster bombs and all things badass like that oh and artillery and mortars would be amazing i want halo to make bf 4 look like a ***** game

And bring it out on 360 to so we dont have to buy an xbox one and keep the graphics simple so it doesnt freeze every 30 minutes and add the vehicles i requested i will buy u all candy dammit with the pedo van and the ice cream truck music and everything lol

Make the Assualt Rifle less OP.

 

It can't be beaten at close range (which is where all the fighting takes place because of this games ridiculously symetric maps), and it net's kids an easy and cheap kill. Also I'd consider buffing the Carbine and Lightrifle, or at least having the light rifle shoot faster

The problem is most of Halo 4's maps are linear, small and seeing a lot of combat in one area. So you'l never get a long range kill on most of the maps, so you have to go into close combat, where even with perfect aim, you're ruthlessly outgunned.

 

The Halo reach AR was balanced, I could get kills with it, but a person with a DMR or Pistol wasn't hopelessly outgunned.

The problem is most of Halo 4's maps are linear, small and seeing a lot of combat in one area. 

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

 

Halo 4's Maps are MASSIVE, and fighting happens everywhere.

 

They need to be small for Halo 5.

 

As for the idea of Promethean Sprint. No. No more sprint, especially on small maps.

i really liked the style of the halo 3 armor but loved the customization in halo reach, if 343 industries could combine 3, reach, and 4, the armor customization would be amazing in my opinion. and i wouldnt mind the hyabusa armor being brought back either.

Race game mode

Good balance of matchmaking playlist

No game changing "perk" "loadouts" "abilities" - Just make it a good old shooter.

So just do what you already have an option of doing if you get enough votes in the matchmaking lobby of Halo 4. Just instead all matches be like that? Or am I misunderstanding? And as to what I want? I still want what I've wanted since Halo: CE. To duel wield a jackal shield and an energy sword. That's really all I want.

My wishlist;

 

1) Loadouts done away with. Pointless and devalues weapons found on maps.

2) Ordance, done away with. Makes good/lucky players even lucky with special weapons, and cheapens weapons found on maps.

3) Sprinting, done away with. Halo is a modern sci-fy arena/tournament shooter, let it be its own thing.

4) Maps should take heavy inspiration from halo 2 and 3, with some 1 thrown in (for large tdm and other modes).

5) All special weapons (rockets,sniper,grenade launcher(only 1), Brute (thing?) Forerunner laser, some new promethean rail gun, flamethrower, fuel rod and more) should spawn on certain maps consistently. Variety would 

6) Moar grenades than the 2 limit, I liked the halo CE 6 per grenade. Also the halo 3 grenade variety was good.

7) 1 manned scorpion with main gun and machine gun all in one. People can still sit on the sides though.

8) Armor lock (and some armor abilities) in the game as some way.

9) Weaker ghost armor, is ridiculous in Halo 4.

10) Brutes returning, and or the flood, not quite enough enemy variety in H4 coming from H3.

11) Forge that doesn't enforce loading complex/dynamic lighting.

12) Game modes with more personality. For example, if your playing Spartans vs elite invasion (if its in the game) if the Spartans are attacking then it starts with the Spartans on a pelican and some officer telling you your object and dropping your vehicle. If you were elites, then your in a phantom and they're spewing some religious bull****.

13) If there is some space combat or air combat mission, include a battlefront/BF2142 Game mode like Titan where you're trying to destroy the enemy ship. 

14) No unlocks, let people customize how they want to look or lock them behind achievements, so people have to earn em.

15) 1-50 matchmaking level, your skill level determines which your emblem (or emblems you can choose from). You're naturally matchmade with people around your people in order to keep an even playing field.

16) Battle rifle that doesn't have orange on it, and is a 4 burst kill like Halo 2.

17) DUAL WIELDING, with smg's focused on duel wielding. Hell, it might even be a good idea to deal wield 1 weapon like a rocket launcher along with a small weapon. Idk probably unbalanced.

18) Time to expand the universe, either make the story more interesting with it being more personal (like the UNSC and Covenant hunting MC, but working together to do so and are living together?) or add new races to throw into the mix, without brutes and flood and older characters (Miranda,Sgt Johnson, guilty spark, cortana) and just the forerunner + elites then the game will just feel like a lazy attempt to keep the series going.

19) Mission variety that blows Destiny away, too many "Go 3 terminals and press button".

20) Flag carrier in CTF runs the same speed as normal players, stop trying to appease casuals by making them run faster.

21) Very expensive (or not) but high quality servers to ensure the best competitive environment. Halo is big enough now to continue growing without the CoD method of making newbs feel badass in a ridiculously one sided match that hooks as if they just got high for the first time. I'd argue that those who care enough to want to compete are even more hooked, and should be focused on instead of universally reducing gameplay quality to compensate for talent, or lack there of.

22) Humanity the underdogs again or at least balanced, in halo 4 they were dominating the universe (supposedly)

23) Aim assist on competitive playlists (ones that aren't casual, that effect your rank) disabled by default.

24) A protagonist other than Master Chief, I like that they are eluding too (pretty much confirming) a female spartan and other characters working with her. Also, the covenant campaign in Halo 2 was interesting, you got to play from a different perspective with different weapons shoved down your throat.
