Cluegiver
Does anyone else feel like this perk greatly damages the game? I don't really have a problem with any of the other perks in the game, but when you start to change damage outputs, then that becomes a problem. It creates too many inconsistencies. You have no clue who is using it, so they may sit on a grenade and should be one shot but instead, they are still 3 shots. Grenades in general are a joke. Get touched by one and your one shot basically. The point of the game isn't to shoot people, it's to throw grenades and hope that they get hit by the smallest bit of the explosion and are then one shot. Not only do your grenades do more damage, you also take less damage from grenades. I was pissed off playing and decided to chuck 2 grenades at the ground real quickly with my explosives perk on right in front of me, and it didn't even kill me. And apparently explosives works with the sticky detonator too, which means it probably works with rockets and the other explosive weapons. Grenades are so unpredictable so I have a huge problem with it.
LiQuid BioniX
Halo has, at least to me, been a lot about well placed grenades. It happens at the casual AND pro level, and placing grenades so it gives you a significant advantage is a huge part of the game.
Twisted Oracle
I dont think the perk makes a huge difference in war games
Cluegiver
Grenades are already strong enough. Do they really need to be made stronger?
NAMUH38
it doesn't make your grenades any stronger, just increases their radius a bit. I find it most useful when using pulse grenades, you can more reliably lock down a route. as for the damage reduction, it's not game breaking. it simply lets you take one more grenade depending on the placement of the previous ones. and then you can still be one shot. it encourages ppl to wanna use options they may have otherwise overlooked, one of the best being teamwork. besides, you shouldn't just run into a room even if you chucked grenades ahead of you. I for one can dance around pretty effectively in close quarters

In previous Halo games you were able to make skillful decisions about what to do in certain situations and you would know that if you were better, you would win. Now many of these encounters are gone and replaced with, "whoever is luckier wins!"
