AWK
I recevived Halo 4 Christmas day and have spoken to a few of my friend's about these code's that unlock new classes, but to my dismay they were only offered to those that pre-ordered the game back in November. I have played nothing but Treyarch game's since my career on xbox LIVE and switching from those shooters to Halo was amazing but the fact of the matter is I had hoped that there wouldn't be thing's like this happening in this francise. So, I was wondering this since one of my friend's have bought his code off another person will I have to do the ssame or is there something going to happen in an update? If not I suppose I too will have to buy a code off someone else.

AWK
If you played the game before the 20th of November you recevied a code from xbox LIVE, saying "here's your free gift!" but if you didn't then you did not get a code for specializations for winthin the game such as stalker. LiQuid BioniX
Obviously I can't and won't tell you how to spend your money, but I'd strongly advise against buying the codes. It's really, really easy for someone to take your money and keep the code and rip you off. If that's your plan of action, just be careful with it. Nick Fuller
ehhhhh buying codes for specializations just add to the value of the game...not worth paying extra since they will be unlocked to everyone eventually. I know January was going to be a big update but dunno about the specializations (just assuming). But it makes since cuz its a big part of the game that people are being locked out of (good thing i got the code )
Forlorn Penguin
If you pre-ordered the Limited Edition you got a code that unlocked all the specializations on day 1.... I'm pretty sure they were just included in the Limited Edition. No pre-order was necessary. Other than that though, you had to play before November 20. Obviously I can't and won't tell you how to spend your money, but I'd strongly advise against buying the codes. It's really, really easy for someone to take your money and keep the code and rip you off. If that's your plan of action, just be careful with it. If he gets them from eBay, he should be fine. It's buying it from other forum members or XBL users that you should be careful about.
ISTRAFED UP0NI
I have Limited Edition and they WERE included. There was a code in the box that had all specializations, skins, emblems and Map packs all in one code. They will release the specializations to everyone soon enough, just be patient. Harbinger
Playing the game on the first few days after it was released gave you all the specializations... My friend didn't get a code and he has limited! People who bought the Limited Edition get two codes one with the game and the other one gets emailed. AWK
I leave this thread for a day, lol. Thank ya'll for all the comment's and I'll just hold up to see if the update includes them if not then I'll figure something out. Also, I'm not a guy so, yeah. SSFrog
The specializations are stupid and utterly pointless. They're there to make people like you feel like you're missing out on something.

AWK
Doesn't matter, they dont activate until level what 60? Fifty, although I'd prefer to use fast track over wetwork.
Forlorn Penguin
I'd prefer to use fast track over wetwork. From what I hear, Fast Track's XP bonus is very underwhelming and a waste of a perk slot. Wetwork's Stealth is definitely better as it essentially makes you immune to Promethean Vision. pkmaximum
The specializations are stupid and utterly pointless. They're there to make people like you feel like you're missing out on something. For the most part I find them trivial, they are not completely useless. At the end of each specialization rank (level 10) you unlock a new loadout ability. For example, tracker lv. 10 allows you to essentially re-roll your ordnance drop for a new set of weapons. Rogue sounds the best though, it minimizes the amount of turbulence you receive when taking shots.
