icycoolx
Can anybody give me tips for making my own call outs for my own maps? I was wondering if there are any good special tips people could give me? Or is it all pretty obvious stuff?
RedStarRocket91
The absolute easiest thing to do is add coloured lights to different parts of your maps. Even by the end of one match, people will probably have an easy time finding 'the red room' and 'the green room', whereas asking them to head to 'the hangar' or 'the reactor core' might just confuse them until they've gotten very used to the layout of the map. Other than that, try adding shields into windows and walls, man cannons, toys and static weapon spawns, all of which can make for good callouts.
Rev Righteous
I've seen a few maps use different colored lights to great effect, so I suggest that as well. Another simple trick, is under the settings to any item, you can change it's team designation (Attacker-blue, defender-red, and so-on.) On building and blocks, this changes the stripes from grey to the team color, so you can make each section of the map striped in different colored bands for zone indication or use it to identify team bases.
Hater
Go by as what you remember the spot by, maybe it has a crate there. Try to add which side of the map it is on too. If it is in the red base, then call it red crate.
