In flood mode the flood are way too fast ,they have a thruster pack and their lunge is way too long please make them slower and shorten their lunge I can't even play the game mode because they can melee while in the middle of using their thruster pack please fix this!!! Or just add alpha zombies like in reach

Infection/Flood has always been a very difficult gametype to balance. It's very hard to balance something when you're making the two sides of the conflict use such different weapons. I tend not to play it for this reason. It will never be balanced, because you either have zombies slaughtering humans OR you have humans holding up in unassailable locations. There is no middle ground, no room for players to actually shine, just a zombie game. I hate zombies, I hate the Flood, and I only play this gametype when I need a challenge or when a friend wants to play it.

The problem is that Flood, or Zombies, was never meant to be balanced or even be a half serious gametype. It was always about Humans killed wave after wave of zombies. Giving them shields and really strong AAs is just silly and against the point of zombies...

I prefer to be a zombie. Flood just destroys everything. Although as last man standing I liked a little reward. A little bit of over shield or something to really make it nerve wracking taking on everyone. Now it's hard to get anything more than a double kill before they all come overwhelming you... I just don't get that last man standing feel like I had in previous games. Also thrusters is pretty lame. PV for humans, thrusters for flood... They close the distance quicker than most people's reaction time. It's too one sided.

i don't find flood a hard game for me as the last standing player i get like 4-6 kills unless i'm in a truely bad postion say next to a wall if i'm out in the open easier to kill flood when u got places to run and gun. but i;m not very good as flood and mostlyused as bait for the humans. i'm good except the fact the sword lunge sucks its not 50 feet guys its like still 3 your moving at a fast pace and half the time they are near you b4 u know it. thats the point of flood devolping your timing. me even with thruster pack i still die b4 i even get within 3 feet of a human. its a non blenaced gametype and adds a new taste. halo is mostly about balencing. thats why people hate flood. to me it adds a challenge i rock as human **** as flood(unless i get lucky and i'm not the mc so lady luck is almost never with me) it just really depends on the map. i personally think there should be flood only map. a map that you can only play flood on. because complex is to open there are to many areas to camp as human. and on haven its to close quarters. have been play halo 4 sence the game has come out. take a true gamers perspective and acctually play te gametype and learn about it more. personally i like how it is minus the fact as flood i can barly get any kills.

I've never been a fan of Infection in Halo 3 or Reach. I've yet to even play Flood and I have no intention to. As Bloody Initiate said, it's just too stupid and unbalanced for me to enjoy it.

I could enjoy a game of Zombies every now and then back in the Halo 2 days, but even then, it was unfair because most people preferred to play on Foundation, which was a horrible map for it. The human team would always go into the room with all the crates and melee the crates into the doorway which made it impossible for the zombie team to get in without having to jump onto the crates and crouch under the doorway to get in to kill the humans. While crouch walking over the crates, the zombies were then vulnerable (because you move very slowly when crouching) and would be blasted by shotguns. Naturally it was very rare for the zombie team to win on Foundation and since Foundation was the most popular map for the gametype, it was extremely unbalanced.

Long story short, I hate Infection/Flood and I'm not surprised to hear that it's unbalanced in Halo 4.
