miniamp Posted January 7, 2013 Report Share Posted January 7, 2013 As all of you know,(unless you live under a rock or something) that Spartan Ops takes place about six months after the events that happen in Halo 4s campaign with the Chief. We all know that Chief is found chillin out maxin, relaxing all cool in space when a Pelican from the Infinity snatches him up. Where he is stripped of his old Mjonlir armor.(assuming he's getting the later editions of the Spartan IV armor) Now that's all nice and fine, but. WHERE IS HE WHEN THE INFINITY GOES BACK TO REQUIEM? Since he was the first human(non Promethean AI) to step foot on Requiem. Wouldn't it make sense to show him giving the crew some advice and tips on how to fight the Prometheans, weak points in their armor, what weapons are more effective, ect.. if he hasn't already? Basically I just want to know what you guys think happened to the Chief after what happened on Requiem I personally think he's on some R&R, but you never know. Sarge Posted January 7, 2013 Report Share Posted January 7, 2013 First off he just suffered from a huge loss from when Cortana died. He only really loved Dr.Hasley and her *also his other spartans*. Losing her is like losing half your family because they want to save you from a tank you wouldn't want to go and work you need as you said R&R. No clue on the document tho. Taking off his armor doesn't mean they put new armor on. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to retire him, but he is informed that there may be a way to get Cortana back, so he will go fight dudes again.
