SilentCO1
Hey everyone. So obviously, the Reclaimer Trilogy, which is what Halo 4-6 is, will come to an end. That doesn't necessarily mean Halo, as there is still a whole Universe to explore, especially from before the time that Halo: Reach began. But on topic, what do you guys think their next game should be? This is what I think: Their next game should be put into a Third person environment. It would be a Sci-Fi game, like Halo. The game would be very diverse, the campaign would be similar to Halo's style, but it would be more like an RPG. You can take armor from dead enemies, credits/money from them, weapons, etc. You could also customize your vehicle, and would have your own spaceship to travel the galaxy. It would be more of an open world game, but with objectives you have to complete, and hundreds, even thousands of side objectives/missions to do. You could choose your "race", which could include alien species as well as humans. Elites would also be playable, but would be something like a pre-order bonus, or would come with special editions of the game. Of course, some species wouldn't be able to use some kinds of armor, as it wasn't made to fit them, but you can get them welded into the equivalent of your species armor with the same stats. You could customize many things, from vehicles, spaceships, yourself, maybe even your weapon. You could add something like a laser bayonet to your gun (This would only give you a bonus/option to use it in campaign/Firefight type game). Here's how Multiplayer would work. It would be more like Gears of War, but then again, very different. It would be like a regular third person shooters multiplayer like Gears, not an RPG, giving two totally different, but extremely fun experiences. What your character looked like in Campaign would be transferred to Multiplayer, although it wouldn't give them any bonuses in Multiplayer. You would be awarded "Credits" in game that could be spent on things like customizing vehicles on the spot, or your weapon, and maybe even some reinforcements (AI, but they would cost ALOT). This would reward the players for doing good in the fight, like Homefront. You could also use cover, and hide behind it, like in Gears of War. But with this game, cover can be destroyed. You can destroy buildings, and even tear down trees and other scenery. You could blow bridges to stop enemy advancements in certain game modes similar to Invasion. The player count would also be raised to 16 vs. 16 instead of the maximum 8 vs. 8 in the current Halo games. There would be a massive amount of weapons, and certain armor/species could only be unlocked in Multiplayer and in Campaign (Still, the bonus would only be available in Campaign, everyone is equal in Multiplayer). Another thing would be that you could repair vehicles and buildings, and other structures, but it would cost credits, and would take some time, so it comes at a huge risk of it being blown apart, but the repair wouldn't stop until it is 100% repaired, unless it's like a vehicle and blows up, they can't be repaired. But Buildings and other structures can, even if they are completely demolished, you can rebuild them. These are just some ideas. Take into mind, this is definately not Halo, so the ideas shouldn't be the same. Would you like this? Comment anything you think should be added, or your own game you want them to do. Dean PHD
Please no third person. Keep that crap out of this series. If they want to make another RTS like Wars then that's fine but please no 3rd person.
