In need of some Forge Advice

This is my first time posting here, so I'll try to break as few rules as possible. I have been spending the last week making a map in forge and in my maps I try to make the map work with as many game types as possible. With the map I've been making it works with every game mode except Extraction, I haven't tested much since most of my friends are busy playing other games, so I've only had a handful of people test it. However when playing Dominion I noticed that I spawned near a base that my team did not have. It was a neutral base, Base B. I had A, and the enemy had C. I had put a Dominion Spawn Zone on all of them, so is there a way I can fix random people spawning by neutral bases? I was thinking it was maybe inevitable considering this map was designed as a 4v4 or maybe 5v5 Slayer map. So if anyone knows how to fix this issue, that'd be greatly appreciated.

Also, I made the Base Spawn Zones out of Hill Markers, Should I switch them to Respawn Zones?

a good friend always advises me to not worry about trying to make the map compatible with so many game types, but i prefer to.

still, with little documentation I found the zone aspects of forge confusing.

what i tried was to remove all the non-zone objects from an existing board and studied how they set it up those objects.

but i STILL have problems with Extraction and game types, I had Capture the flag working, but now my flags don't spawn

I'd love some help with knowing the requiremetns for each game type as well

I think I may have fixed it. However I still need to know if having the dominion respawn zone label on a hill marker and not a respawn zone effects anything. Also I'm not going to go out of my way to make room for the budget, a whopping $75 remaining, on my map to make it work for extraction, but if I don't need to add any new pieces I'd like to know how to set up extraction.

Unfortunately, Extraction is going to require a bit of budget to set up "correctly" (with the Extraction crate targets). My advice would be to try to simplify any unnecessarily complicated areas on your map. A 4V4/5V5 shouldn't have THAT much budget needed. As for the respawn zones, I don't know if using a hill makes a difference, but I'd switch them to spawn zones just to be safe. I'd have to see where you have spawns on your maps to make a better judgement. If you want, you could send me a message on XBL and I could come look at your map and give you advice. My gamer tag is Squally DaBeanz (same as on here lol).

I switched to respawn zones to be safe, and my map is pretty much complete except for some reason I can't place anymore initial spawn points. It says I have 204 left but won't let my place any. My gamertag is Shadow393939, the map is on my file share, "Spartan Grounds". I had originally made it in Halo 3, and I just recently brought it over to Halo 4 and tried to make it better.

It still doesn't work with extraction because I don't have budget left

The reason you cant place anymore spawn points is that you've hit the item limit for your map, which is different than budget limit. Theres a certain number of objects (doesn't matter what kind) that can be spawned on a map. When you reach this limit, you can't place anymore objects, even if you still have the numbers or budget left. Again, I'd go back and try to simplify things in your map, because chances are that if you have hit both the budget limit and object limit, your map is going to suffer framerate issues, and possibly broken dynamic lighting.

i didn't know i had to do anything special for dynamic lighting

but i'm at my budget limit already,

and now i find out i'm probably gonna need budget to fix extraction, etc

uh oh..

Hmm. Ok, I can't tell if there's a drop in framerate or dynamic lighting, so if you could come into a game maybe tomorrow or something and check it out for me, I'd be grateful. I will try simplifying things though. I don't know where I could do that though.
