CAMPAIGN LEGENDARY BUG PLEASE FIX

PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS BUG! i have been playing the halo franchise for atleast 8 years and have moved around a lot so havent always had internet to connect to xbox live , this basically means that before i get xbox live up and running i complete the campaign on legendary, however i did this on halo 4 solo and then after got my internet up and running and figured out that i havent actually got any of the unlockables that you get from completeing halo 4 on legendary.. :? why isnt halo 4 able to see that i have completed it ?just wondered if if this were a fault with my xbox or just halo 4 in general ???? :S its F%£&ing irritating"!!!!!

While I can understand your frustration at this, the game did exactly what it was programmed to do. Rather than looking at achievements, or even the game itself to see that every level has been completed, the game was programmed to look at the commendation progress in order for unlocks to happen. And the only way to have commendations marked as being completed is to play the game online.

 

Maybe sometime in the future, 343 will adjust this. Trust me, you are not alone in this issue, a lot of people have complained about this very same thing. Unfortunately, this website is not affiliated with 343 in any way. We're just a fan run community forum. Some 343 employees may stop by and check things out every once in a while, but to be honest, with the massive amounts of threads, chances are once one gets buried, they don't dig it up.

 

This doesn't help you much, I know, but you may have a better shot at having 343 see this if you go to the actual forums for Halo 4, over at Waypoint (halo.xbox.com).
