Description

 

When the U.N.S.C. first landed on the Onyx planet they were filled with chaos, and turmoil. Luckily through power, numbers, and tactics, the military finally gained control of this Forerunner planet, that intrigued scientist from all corners of human civilization. After years of studding one of the known Forerunner land control stations, one of the scientists accidentally activated an earthquake that cut a ravine in the small island. This had forced the scientists to look more closely at the geological patterns happening at that particular station. Hastily they built a small research facility that would detect any strong wavelengths, and report them to the scientists for evacuation to save any lives that might of been lost. After the completion of the station they named it "Lambda" after the Greek symbol λ, which means wavelength in the Scientific community.
