A Halo Free Roam Game kinda like Skyrim!

I came up with an idea for a Halo game. The idea is to have it sort of like skyrim but instead of Stormclaoks and the legion the factions would be the Covenant and UNSC. it could be multiplayer and singleplayer and have it free roam be able to buy weapons vehicles and armor. different characters that you can be such as marines, spartans, Elies, and maybe jackels and grunts, world generation so its different each time and maybe include the flood. Does anyone else agree?

I see how it would be a very interesting idea for a game that I would highly look into (in theory). In actuality, I don't think that it is very plausible for the Halo series to just shift from an FPS to an MMORPG. Who knows?

You obviously haven't heard of Bungie's new project: Destiny.

 

It's ultimately just WoW in Space, similar to Star Wars. I'm sure there'll be plenty of Halo ideas, taken from Halo and placed into Destiny. I'm sure you're just so excited to hear this news.

It wouldnt fit, skyrim you go around killing old woman, halo you go on dangerous misssions on another planet fighting enemys. Skyrim has a lot of characters halo has few to put in a world that large theyed be so spread out.

It wouldn't be a world it would be a small map about half the size of a skyrim world

In ODST, it feels kinda like a free roam within the city... I'm pretty sure that's as close as you'll get for Halo.

Halo has 1,000's of possible creatures, enemies and villains ???? It also has multiple solar systems and over 42 planets which have been mentioned. The environments and settings would be limitless. You confuse me, Yoshi, with a lot of your post.

Thats exactly what Destiny will be like but I agree that it would be cool to have it Halo themed. Halo Wars, ODST, and REACH were all essentially Halo without being complete Halo.

I would pro-order and play a game like this, to death, if it came. I would love to be able to buy, sale, and find armor and weapons. The ability to go to shops and upgrade your Mark IV armor and create Mark VIII. Buy a warthog and upgrade it's turrets. Buy new tires, armor, shocks, etc. to travel around faster with better protection. Sneak into Forerunner buildings, and take their technology to other villages or towns, so that I could sale them unknown technology. Build and protect my own village, which could slowly be upgraded to a town and then ultimately a city. The list goes on but it get the point. I hope something like this will be done with the Halo theme.

I just think it would be a little spaced out if it was based on halo because there isnt as many things as in skyrim, in skyrim you find a tower or cave and you go in it and theres some sort of mini quest and payout for it. I personally dont think Halo would fit that. But thats just my opinion.

Here are just a few mentioned on this site plus if you look into books and more in depth Halo material there is a lot more. I agree, in a sense, with you that they would have to expand the story more maybe. But they have not told us about a lot already that has been mentioned. It could be done.

That is true but you could fill these spaces with forerunner temples and covenant bases. or flood outpost. the possibilities are endless.

This would b a great idea, only id expect them to take about 4 years to make it, if not more, otherwise i wouldn't play it. It would need several testing phases, open to some people in the public, that way most issues will surface quickly.

 

They would need to make sure the graphic's are up to date and that the story was plausible.

 

If all this was done, it would be a great game indeed.
