NextHaloGeneration
I have got a new idea for Halo 5. It would be called ODST. When you start the game, one team is ODSTs and they spawn in a room similar to Halo 3 ODST's drop pod room. The other team spawns as Covenant. ODST: ODSTs would go into the game-generated drop pods and fall down INTO the map or forge map you chose to play on. Above the map would be a UNSC ship that you dropped from. (Wouldnt be real, just an image slowly moving across the sky. Any way the ODSTs would have to protect a base or some sort of computer and if 343i makes AI forge people, you might have to protect them. If an ODST dies, you just spawn on the ground. ODSTs can choose classes like in Halo 4 Infinty Slayer. Covenant (Storm): The other team would get to choose what Covenant they want to spawn as, similar to classes. The Covenant you can choose from would be Grunts, Jackals, and Elites. Sometimes when you get ordinance, you can choose being a Hunter. Then you turn into a Hunter when you pick up the ordinance drop. Grunts- You would have low view from the Grunt's eyes. You would spawn with a plasma pistol, needler, or sometimes a fuel rod cannon. Grunts are weaker, but can hide well and their armor ability would be Roll. Roll is just like what the infected could of had in Halo Reach. The Grunts just roll a little ways away from danger. (lol) Jackals- Jackals would be the next class you could choose from. They are also weak, but have a shield armor ability that works just like Jackals from campaign. They can have a plasma pistol or needler. They can also sneak, where Promethean Vision cant see them, and the Jackals themself crawl pretty fast. Elites- Elites would be the classic Halo Reach Elites. They can have basically any covenant weapon, just not the power weapons. They have no armor ability. They are stronger, with shields. The goal is to protect, or destroy a UNSC base until/before the time runs out. There would be new forge pieces when building, such as walls and computers. The walls can be destroyed by explosives. Computer might need to be destroyed to open doors or something. Some pieces would be Domion pieces, just changed a little. It would basically be one sided Domion, except the base needs to be destroyed. So please reply on if you like the idea. Duncan Steele
Awesome... Reminds me of Left for Dead 2 when you got to play as the zombies vs. 4 humans who were holding out in the street. Awesome idea.
