A marine was bench pressing 50 pounds on each side. "Move over, human." Kel said. The marine backed away from the Arbiter, being 2 feet shorter than him. Kel got on the bench and put 200 pounds on each side and lifted it like it was a feather. After he was done, Kel ran off to the briefing room, ready to get his first mission. He dropped the duffle bag, which was slung over his shoulder at what lay in front of him; there was a huge hangar bay, and it was abuzz with activity. Various aircraft docked in and out of the gargantuan structure, dropping off troops and supplies. He turned at the sound if some ODST's calling his name. "Sir, you are the Captain of Dawning Horizon, correct?" "Yes Sergeant... Downes, is it?" "Uh, yes sir, we've been ordered to escort you to the bridge. This way." Michael followed the troopers along various corridors. "Sir, if you don't mind me saying... But you're quite a legend back home. How you managed to escort a fleet out of system with a damaged Slipspace drive and leaking reactor? If you don't mind my saying, sir, its an honour to be serving with you." Told the marine enthusiastically. "Well... Thanks, I didnt realise that I was famous. You rarely hear about colony life in Command." Replied the officer, glad that he was having a conversation. He noted the name. Sgt. Downes. He was going to request a transfer of this man to his crew. He then realised that many crew members were looking at him, and talking in hushed whispers. Squad briefings, armouries, research. The ship was fully equipped to support a city. "This is a beautiful ship. Hard to believe that this is the result of our struggle against the Covenant." Muttered the Sergeant, looking around in awe. "Yes, and this is an Improvement of Infinity, if we carry on like this, Infinity class ships will be the main ships of our fleets." Replied Michael. He saw a sign for the bridge. "Thank you Downes. Dismissed" he continued. He tossed it to Pershing and then sat down on the couch. "How was your first mission?" The Arbiter asked the ODST. Kel almost died on his first one. He could normally take on Field Marshals and even High Councilors in single combat and come out with no problem, but he wasn't himself lately. It kind of makes me feel giddy LOL)) Kel took a swig and put the bottle on the table. "Nice job. You're lucky you get a squad. I work alone because I'm an Arbiter." He moved his mandibles a little bit. "I just got back. My mission went fairly well. Had to face four Sangheili Ultras in sword combat. It would have been easier, but I haven't been myself. But I got the datapad and made it out undetected. I was the best swordsman in the Covenant and problem still am. Just need a day's worth of training." The Arbiter looked toward a door to a small room and pointed at it. "You up for some hand to hand combat training?" He asked Pershing.
