Dr Fallen X
Now I know this is a long way off and it's not even 100% confirmed but this is for 343 itself, from me, when you make Halo 5 a good template to go off of would be Halo 3, multiplayer and layout wise, the multiplayer is amazing and the layout of the menus are also amazing. Now what exactly do I mean? I mean the ranking system. Halo 3s ranking system made you work at it, if you wanted to be successful you had to be good end of story. And that's what most if not all of Halos audience likes. Halo REACH took you days to get to reclaimer bur Halo 4s ranking system was WAY to easy many of my friends have been SR130 since thend beginning of December and say that it's not worth playing anymore. Dont get me wrong, Halo 4s a great game but for inspiration you went looking at CoD games - AKA, THE WRONG INSPIRATION FOR A HALO GAME! You dont need all these perks or "Specializations" to make halo good and especially you don't need inspiration from games popular with prepubesent children for a game that already had amazing inspiration with it's roots. All Im saying is for Halo 5 look for inspiration from previous Halo games along with your own ideas, take old and make it new. Don't **** up Halo 5 when you decide to work on it because if you do...it's going to hit you guys HARD! Make it a game where you'll want to always keep playing it, even years later, I was on Halo 3 with my friend today and almost 10,000 people are still playing it! Now thats not much but for a game that came out close to a dozen years ago and with 2 games already out after it that's alot. And why is it still popular? Because of how amazingly fun and long it takes to get to a 5 star general, and once there you dont just keep the rank, if you suck...YOU GET DEMOTED so you're always playing it, making sure you're up to par so you're not demoted. Halo 3s a great template...use it and Halo 5 might just be another Halo gams that youll wanna play years later.....this concludes my rant, thank you for reading
BaconShelf
You don't lose EXP for losing. You lose it for quitting or being booted, you simply do not gain any for losing. *Sighs* you're threads basically sound like you want Halo 3/ODST MK II. And wrong sub forum... Again...
