Forerunner vehicles

Are there even confirmed promethean vehicles in the great, expansive, and well-established lore of the Halo series? Never heard of 'em.

im not talking promeathian im talking forerunner vehicles. And the forerunners are still widly unknown. Spartan ops episode 9 had a key showing the locations of all the forerunner technology which might include cool vehicles. Also there was that huge promethian ship in the halo 4 campeign.

You can't just add weapons and vehicles AFTER the game is released. Best off hoping for H5

u can it just doesnt usually happen without purchaseable dlc

the forerunners get around by teleporting. it would be pointless for them to need vehicles, but it wouldnt hurt for them to leave a vehicle depot that the unsc raids and uses them for future war and missions. hey, this would make a few great spartan ops missions (just an idea)

ppl mix up promeathians and forrunners. Promeathians r those guys that evaporate. Forerunners r those ppl like the diadact. Still the spartan ops mission thing would be cool.

Jason Jones wanted to include a level in Halo 2 that he just called "Forerunner Tank". As he put it, "Forerunner Tank. Awesomeness will ensue."

I'm inclined to agree.

oh rly i didnt know that they were going to do that. do u know why they took it out? i think it would have been pretty cool if they had of kept it

They said it was the same reason that they didn't get to do a lot of the finishing touches they wanted, they just ran out of time and resources and that was going to be a lot of work. They'd already postponed it a ton of times. The basis was going to be that you use the Tank to escape what was essentially the end of Halo 3, where the Gravemind is tentacle-raping the Halo firing control room on the Ark (I think, they were kinda vague), although obviously on the Halo 2 ring instead of the Ark.

Seriously? That game was the ****, I never had live when it was out (because I was a broke MFer) but the multiplayer was pretty crazy awesome. Campaign was huge and badass, too. The storyline was similar to CE, but it also got told from the viewpoint of an Elite. It was just a way more ambitious, badass plot than CE (and arguably bigger in terms of plot progression and innovation than any subsequent game).
