I'm not sure if it has been done of the site before, but following up with Sweaty's idea of including the forge maps from contests in community playdates, I was wondering if we could maybe do a little bit of a spinoff of that idea. In short, it would be a 4v4 Infinity Slayer forge contest (like the one we have going on now), except that the winner would be chosen by the community, and not just by voting for your top three. There would be criteria that the forgers would have to try and perfect, and then the community (who would play on each map a couple of times in teams of 4) would evaluate the map on a scale of 1-10. In additon, this could be some sort of 4v4 (best of three) tournament, played on these different maps. The categories could be things like map flow, aesthetics, balance, and other things like that. Whoever has the most points at the end would win the contest. Again, not sure if something like this has been done, but it'd be a fun way to integrate the more hardcore players with the hardcore forgers (and everyone in between)! 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
