Kurt S-501
Ok. I know there are other topics like this but I haven't seen this idea yet. So the other day I got bored and started playing madden football 2008. Before the game there was a menu in which you could change the weather. It had the option to control precipitation, temperature, and time. If a 2008 game could have this, why not Halo 4: a 2012 game. I don't think they should be like filters because those are too limited. Also I would add to this menu: visibility, water height, and storm cells. Feel free to add some of your own ideas down below.
MrPlow
that would be really cool. or you could even go the other way and make it so that you can tell its scorching hot outside bye making steam come off the ground and dust fly everywhere.

Father B
I love this idea! To take it further, there should be temperature zones you can place, and be able to alter the shape and size to fit rooms or outdoor areas. This way you could show a building or vessel as having problems with life-support systems. Come to think of it… if gravity fields could be placed the same way… Question: is it a good idea to have the weather affect gameplay? I mean, if it was icy, should smooth surfaces become slippery and give us traction issues? If we flood an area with water, should it slow us down? If we make it stormy, would the electric interference wreak havoc with the MoTrac? Just strikes me as odd that we would have intense weather/temperature and no affect on gameplay. But maybe I'm thinking about it too much.

If anchor 9 and condemned have it; why shouldn't we be allowed to forge it. I made a Topic on that once.
