Not receiving full experience from challenges?

I was playing Halo 4 on Live and was completing the Spray and Pray challenge of 150 kills with an automatic rifle and the reward was 20,000 experience upon completion. I haven't received the experience points but it say that I have completed the challenge. Has anyone else had this problem? I have contacted XBOX LIVE support and they gave me this link thinking I would get better results from a post. I was at the end of completing level 89 and was only shy 1,000 experience from leveling up and I had 2 kills left to complete the Spray and Pray challenge. Nothing has been accredited and I have restarted my XBOX with no luck. Hopefully, I can get some answers. Thanks for the help in advance!

ok it is a simple glitch with the game fusting i know but nothing we can do about it

That's been patched. Challenges don't count towards XP as long as you haven't hit the actual XP cap by completing games.

They DON'T count towards XP?? You would think that they do before the XP cap...

Well... If you already hit the XP cap, you should stop playing MM until the next day. That would make a lot more sense. =/

I'm sorry for your problem but I think its a problem that can't be fixed...The only other glitch with challenges I have seen were getting EXTRA experiane from them...

i dont think it can fixed but honestly it is possible to get 5 k XP every 5 mins but i dont do it anymore. Unlike reach it is not worth ranking up in halo 4
