This thing comes sorta automatically from teaming up IMO. We never cared a rats *** about ranks. Not even in H3 days. People was on whatever account anyway so to speak. I agree that if you pick your own team you will be more likely to have mics. But if you're going in by yourself or don't have the opportunity to play with a full team, the random teammates you get will probably not have mics. Back in Halo 2 and 3, nearly EVERYBODY had mics because there was more incentive to win and because of the overall competitiveness of those games.
