Ubisoft to demo fresh Assassin's Creed 4, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and Watch Dogs content at PAX East.

PAX East commences in two weeks, on the weekend of March 22, and we know at least Ubisoft is eager to show off what they've got. The publisher confirmed today major titles Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and their new IP Watch Dogs will be shown, with exclusive content to boot.

Unnamed "digital, PC and iOS titles" were also mentioned, but hey, Assassin's Creed IV! The Assassin's Creed demo wil be shown in a closed theatre, likely with very limited access, and promises an exclusive first look at the new world -- the West Indies during the Golden Age of Pirates. Edward Kenway will be making his appearance, of course, and attendees may be able to snag an... inflatable cutlass sword. I think a t-shirt would've been cooler, but what can you do? Free is free.

Additionally, Ubisoft is teasing some "never-before-seen" Watch Dogs content, also shown in a closed theatre, and attendees who manage to get in will walk away with a Watch Dogs PAX lanyard. During the demo, players get to play as Aiden Pearce, a vigilante who uses his smartphone to hack Chicago's central operating system to control almost every camera, ATM, and other electronic device hooked up to the city's system. What a pro.

As for Splinter Cell, the new Splinter Cell: Blacklist will also get a new demo. Not nearly as many details there, unfortunately.
