this is an idea on how to make ctf more about the flags and less about the endless back and forth killing and more about the capturing of the flags so here is my idea  for one flag ctf on halo 5

 

the ctf match should start at 2 minutes long

there should be one flag on the map on ether the reds or blues base

if u capture a flag u get and addition 2 minutes to make another capture

to balance this there should be a higher score limit in the flags captures the capturing team could make :thumbsup:

that's an interesting idea that i like. they should spawn the flag in the middle of the map too. it's a great idea. i really don't know what to say besides that

 

nope neutral flag is a terrible gametype why because the winner of the game is the team that gets the flag first and scores the first capture this one flag improvement world not work if a flag was in the middle   :thumbsup:

It could alternate sides each round. Here is what I think should be done if that happened:

Red could feel like protecting the flag, and blue would be trying to steal it. If so, then red would need a reason to keep going. Red would slightly get more points for killing blues, while blues would be required to capture the flag. Now that is an objective. :)

 

But that sounds like a new gametype entirely.

It sounds a lot like Rush from Battlefield and i mean that as a complement I love the idea and would love to see it implemented and i think it could be, make a flag for 1 team and a return for the other, only problem you would need 2 of the same map for when you want teams to change rolls without changing sides
