Sp4rkFloW
Hello! I am kind of new here, since I've been here for 15 days, and I was wondering what warning points were. I don't have any but I just wanted to know how to avoid them. Thanks!
BaconShelf
They are given if you repeatedly break the rules. I believe (I know other forums doing this) they use a '3 strikes and you're out' system. If you have none, then that is good

Absolute Dog
Warning points are issued when members are noted for breaking the rules of the forum. They are issued for various reasons, the most important thing for a member is realize is that it should be seen as a reminder each time you post not to repeat the infraction you have previously committed and to also read the rules. They are only seen by the member affected and the moderating team. Warnings are simply that, warnings. It is possible to collect up to 5 before an auto ban takes place, but typically repeated infractions over a short period of time or becoming combative with the moderator issuing the warnings can lead to more significant actions. The best course is to heed the warning and move on, not to become embroiled in argument over them. Hope that helps.

Also please note that warnings can carry with them other consequences, such as being temporarily banned from posting. Warnings themselves are usually considered punishment enough, however for more severe infractions these side consequences are implemented. Warnings also can be temporary or permanent, depending on the infraction. If the warning is temporary, then after a set amount of time it will go away. If it's permanent, then it's permanent. The moderator issuing the warning will usually add the length of time the warning will be in place in the warning itself.
Frankenzer
I would simply suggest following the rules so you won't end up like me
