t507 771t5 Posted May 19, 2013 Report Share Posted May 19, 2013 When I try to upload my own maps to my file share I get the message: the creator of this map is banned from xbl and it doesn't upload. RedStarRocket91 Posted May 19, 2013 Report Share Posted May 19, 2013 First things first, are you actually banned from either Xbox LIVE or any of Halo 4's online components (Matchmaking, Spartan Ops etc.)? If you're banned from either of these things, that's why you can't upload. If not, it's possible that you've uploaded something in the past which was banned, recently had some content reported and are under investigation, or have had previous action taken against your account, either in a Halo game (some form of ban) or related directly to Xbox LIVE (an official warning of some kind). It's also not unheard of for some gamertags to be blacklisted from uploading content: if your gamertag or profile contains anything offensive, you may be being blocked as a result. if you've never had any previous warnings from Microsoft or individual game developers/publishers, and are sure that there's nothing offensive or rude in your gamertag and profile, you could try contacting Microsoft directly to see if they can give you any information about any restrictions on your account, and if that fails you could move on to speaking with 343 Industries. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
