Halo franchise on pc?

Yes, I agree this would be awesome. If halo did move to pc I would do so as baconshelf and haloman have said. However the chances of this happening are similar to the likeliness of halo going onto a playstation system. The amount of hacking and exploiting would be through the roof on pc as well. There is no simple way to control this.

We can all dream though ...

The only Halo games I want to see added to PC is, Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST (And maybe Halo Wars...)

That would complete the Original Trilogy on the PC.

Imagine Halo 3 with dedicated servers, more ranks, and armor, more weapons and vehicles and equipment, more achievements, new maps, better theater mode, custom edition support, and other new features...

And also imagine, true full HD 1080p, 60 FPS, 5x Anti-aliasing, improved HDR and bloom lighting effects, and real-time reflections enabled...

Problem here is, PC doesn't give you control over your look speed other than sensitivity, or your movement speed, unless you plug an Xbox controller into it.

Also, the trigger of an Xbox controller is much more effective for speed-firing a semiautomatic weapon. Plus the controls are easier to use, all placed in ideal sections of the controller, etc.

And on top of that, a PC with the same price as an Xbox offers much less graphical/framerate ability.

Actually, most PC shooters offer X and Y axis sensitivity changes, and some top-end mouses give you that kind of control. The sensitivity can be changed in your computer settings in general.

Also, The controls on PC are actually much better once you use them. It's far more comfortable.

As well as being heavily customisable to the user preference

I didn't have Xbox original and played Halo CE & 2 on PC. If future titles were on PC it would, as said above, make me reconsider buying the next Xbox. I have wanted to build a new PC for a while so if I could play Halo on it, would be a no-brainer for me.
