JTMx81
343, I know I'm WAY behind the times here... but having just finished the H4 campaign... You guys have lost your f*cking minds. You took over a story universe, and the first thing you do is KILL half of the main character?? Cortana and Spartan117 are NOT seperable. She is as vital to the story universe as the player character... I borrowed the game from my brother, who bought it and warned me against it... I will NOT be buying H4, nor will I even bother to look into PLAYING any other games that have 343 Industries as a developer. You have proven that you have ZERO respect for character development, plot histories, and on top of it all, you guys failed horribly at the multiplayer... Way to be REPETATIVE... and I'm talking about the PvP and Spartan Ops, both. But it is the absolutly horrible story ending that sealed your fate with me. Thank you for killing the most interesting, arguably, character that has EVER been in a video game. I will not be wasting any more of my time with your games. Good bye. Andrew Roadblocz
She had to go at some point the game was about taking chief out of his comfort zone and making him be more human then machine. Besides she may not be gone forever there is always a way to bring people back especially in halo. Multiplayer means jack to me i love halo for the story and the reason i love halo more then any other game is the emotions you feel for the characters which you yourself expressed. I mean i teared up when i saw that and still do. Makes me want to continue the story even more so we can get revenge on the didact.
Seeker of Truth
John wouldn't be able to find his human side if Cortana had survived. On top of that if she hadn't died on Mantle's Approach she would have died a far more anticlimactic and far less...what's the word...noble death.
